Sankey to the Titans

Postby zounder » Fri May 09, 2014 6:50 pm

I think that's an almost ideal landing spot. He shouldn't have much competition for touches aside from Greene, unless the Titans draft someone else. Thoughts?

I think it's great, but was hoping he would not be first RB to go since he is the RB I like most in this draft. I wanted him to slip further in my leagues... this kind of guarantees he is gone in the top 10, maybe top 5

I was really hoping that Hill or Hyde was heading to Ten as they were my two top RB's. Not sure about Sankey and if he can ever be an every down back.

This is an ideal situation. I think he will be vastly over drafted now....maybe 1.4-1.5

He will be in a tier by himself as far as the RBs go. All the other "Early pick" RBs have landed in crowded situations. I think you'll see Sankey going in the 1.02-1.04 range, and I will NOT be one of those people spending a top 3-4 pick on him.

He will get 1.01 consideration the way this draft is shaping up.

People are always desperate for RB's.

But should he based on talent? I really don't think so unless your league is really geared towards RB's.

I liked Sankey to begin with, so the good situation is just icing on the cake. I will likely be targeting him in the 1.5-1.7 range the way things are shaping up. He may not last that long though, unfortunately.

Even with all the WR depth in this draft, I would be shocked if Sankey didn't go in the top 5 or 6 in most drafts. People fall in love with the top RBs in a class, it happens every year. With him landing in a pretty good spot for possible immediate production, he'll be climbing boards, especially considering basically every other RB so far has landed in a horrible situation.

With how the other RBs are shaking out and how we all know that RB hype goes in to overdrive around draft time, I wouldn't be shocked to see him go top 2 when all is said and done.

Go ahead and quote me on that. Last year's RB draft class was supposed to be awful as well. How many ended up in the top 2? Hype will make it happen for Sankey due to situation.

1.05, maybe. But I think even that is pushing it. SOMEONE in your league is going to need RB help in the top 5, and Sankey is literally the only option available. I'd expect him to be a top 5 pick in the vast majority of leagues.

I would consider him at 1.03 personally.

You cant get a better spot and he is a good back. I think people are starting to expect players to hit within their first year these days, I have a good chance to trade for a WR that doesnt live up to his hype in year 1 for cheap.

At 1.03 in my league, I'll be taking him at 1.03 if both WR's go off the board ahead of me... as they should.
