Cody Latimer
I'll admit I had never heard of him until I saw he was going to be one of the 30 attendees of the upcoming draft. Anybody know much about him? NFL.com lists him as a round 4-5 guy.
Re: Cody Latimer
He is drawing a ton of hype right now. I watched all the cut ups I could find on him and I think he's another solid WR prospect in what is already a very deep class. I don't think he shows 4.39 speed on the field, but he can play and is worth our consideration.

He's Jordan Matthews, but a tiny bit faster and less productive against crappier competition.

just picked him at 3:7 in current dlf rookie mock but it is scary his best you tube highlight is a slam dunk rather than a td catch

Todd Mcshay of ESPN is super high on him. Said he watched 5 games of him last year and he didn't have one drop in any of the games.

Re: Cody Latimer
I just watched some tape on him and say I'm impressed. He has good awareness all around. Especially, around the sidelines. He uses his feet well to set up his routes and catches everything within range. He also plays special teams for Indiana and gives an effort blocking corners on running plays. I can see why he is moving up the charts. Gonna keep an eye on where he ends up.

Re: Cody Latimer
I wont compare him to josh gordon but he looks similar in the way that the game looks so easy to both of them. He is just a natural athlete. The kind of guy that can play any sport and be darn good at it. To me he is intriguing but I have him in the project category. I would love to have him on my roster but I don't have much room for projects. with 1.1 I will go Sammy and with my 1.9 and 1.10 if beckham , lee and robinson are off the board and I still go WR I may look at him anyway. I have him above Jordan Mathews ,Landry ,cooks and perhaps benjamin now and its not because I am high on Latimer but I am souring a bit on those 4. I think their ceilings are a#2WR and with my team being solid at the position I am looking for homeruns with my top picks.
But this is just one persons perspective.

Re: Cody Latimer
I figured it was only a matter of time until this guy's name got out there. Matt Waldman is also a huge fan and caused me to go back and take a look. I like what I've seen. I really hope he's still kept somewhat under wraps in a month or two so he can be an awesome potential value in the 2nd round of rookie drafts.

Yeah, I have no 1st rd picks this year but have a couple of 2nd rd picks (2.14,2.16). Hoping he will be there for one of those picks.

If he is indeed a late first/early 2nd pick in the NFL draft, I have a hard time seeing him make it out of the end of the first round in rookie drafts... even considering the depth at the WR position for this years' crop of rookies. And especially if he lands in a great situation (maybe SF?) at the end of the first.

Re: Cody Latimer
He's a guy that I could see the Seahawks taking. Has the measureables that they look for. I've also read that the Eagles like him and so does Carolina. He's certainly seeming like a possible 1st round pick at this point.
