1.10 or Ladarius

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Absolutely let him go for the 1.10. You're gonna get a great prospect in that spot. I'm not very convinced about Green. This would be a nice way to capitalize on his successes from last season

I value Green as an early 2nd round pick. Getting the 1.10 would be awesome, especially in a draft this deep.

I like Green as much as any of the tight ends in this draft. You've already got the 1.01 and 1.06. I would probably Keep Green because I believe that he is going to be really good. If Gronk keeps cycling off and on the injury report then you'll be glad to have Green and Reed on that Roster. You can grab your RB with that 1.06.

Actually I would be more tempted to move Gronk (for proper value of course) and get your RB that way.

I'm with 1standgoal. Gronk is a becoming a pain to own, but people still covet him. He just went for Julius Thomas and DeAndre Hopkins in one of my leagues. I think Ladarius is worth holding onto, and even in this deep of a draft, I don't find 1.10 to be that compelling to give up a player I'm excited about.

Talk about a guy whose value is a little over the map. Some say they would easily let him go for a 2nd and others say it would take a quality first to let him go. I actually think 1.10 is fair value for Green since he has already shown his abilities on the NFL level. Whatever draft pick is there is likely going to be in a similar spot as far as production.

L. Green: a prospect.
1.10: a prospect.
L. Green: shown that he has hit. Will it continue? Will he imporve? Will he be consistent?
1.10: shown nothing.

I like Green; I keep him easily here. If you're not sold on Green, this is a fine return, IMO. I'm just willing to gamble that L. Green will be better and better sooner than anyone that I could get at 1.10. And he's young, so he fits into a rebuild very naturally.

So, it's probably no surprise that you can add me to the camp of seeing what you can get for Gronk.

I was the owner who made the deal for Green in this instance, and this poster basically summed up my train of thought. I see Green as a more immediate path to being a breakout player than anyone I would get at 1.10. I know this draft is deep based on the early prognostication, but we won't ever know. At this point, to me, Green is more of a known commodity than anyone that will be there at 1.10 for me. The trade was made for the 2nd team in my signature so I feel strongly that my roster could afford to take a shot on Green over a rookie. I am set at WR and TE (where I can flex Green when needed) and I feel good about my RB situation, despite not having an elite RB. I think my RBs are sufficient. Obviously I need another QB, but I don't like any of the 3 guys this draft so I will keep working for a trade for a decent veteran, and I have some plans in the works in case there is a surprise with Peyton.

Jimmy Graham has me mildly concerned that he was eliminated from a few gameplans this season and I know it might have been injury related, but I think there is some concern. Having Graham and two nice TE prospects like Green and Kelce leaves me in a nice spot I think.

On the other side, the guy who I dealt with needs quality players and depth since the startup last offseason left him with some problems so he has been reshaping his roster for a short rebuild. I think the trade is right where his value should be. Currently Green's ADP would be 7th with the current crop of rookies and his ADP is currently TE6 so I think this is a fair price for both parties.

Thoughts?
