Which trade? Rudolph for Le'Veon or Bennett for CJ1K

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which trade? Rudolph for Le'Veon or Bennett for CJ1K

Postby patiloman13 » Mon Feb 24, 2014 11:42 pm

This is .5 PPR RB, 1 PPR WR, 1.5 PPR TE league, and I was offered a couple trades that I'm contemplating.

Give: Chris Johnson and Aaron Dobson
Get: Martellus Bennett and Tavon Austin

Give: Le'Veon Bell and Aaron Dobson
Get: Kyle Rudolph and Tavon Austin

What do y'all think? Which one should I take, or neither? I do own Danny Amendola in this league as well, so I like having Dobson in case of injury, but Austin is obviously better value.

The leveon bell offer is embarrassing.
Absolutely not to that one.

The Chris Johnson offer is whatever. I'm not high on cj but I also don't like tavon Austin at all either.

Depends on your team. I think the Chris Johnson offer is close. But no one in the deal I would even want so
It's your call.

I will say a big part of this trade is the guy loaded up on 10 TEs in our auction (of 24 roster spots), so he created a little supply and demand issue. I have Jermichael, Housler, and Marcedes as my TEs, it would be nice to get a little better there.

If he loaded up with 10 tes in the draft all the rest of you have to do is wait it out and stand strong. Nobody trade with him and he'll have to drop TEs to fill his starting roster wont he? I hate tgat power crazy hard ball stuff .....just all sit tight and let him be the one who does the sweating.

It's a 4 flex league, so he can start a full lineup right now. I do want to hold out long enough that his values come down, but I don't want to hold out so long that others in the league get to make moves before me. I feel like his "price" for TEs will go up if someone confirms that we need them. Is this a wrong assumption?

I don't like either trade for you. If you could land Rudolph without getting rid of Bell it would be great. With Norv moving to Minnesota, I expect Rudolph's numbers to go up.

Hard to say what's right or wrong as the TE values have probably been kicked all outta whack by his move - i understand what you're saying about making the move at the right time but he'll drop his prices later down the line if nobody blink.....if he doesn't there's really no disparity between the rest of the league because of it as he's (presumably) got pretty much the best 10 TEs anyway so the rest of you are all just trotting out a middling bunch i guess.

Not sure I would do either at this point. But I did notice that this is a TE Premium League with .5 for rb, 1.0 for wr, and 1.5 for te.

Can you mix and match players from his offers? Try this as a counter Chris Johnson and A Dobson for K Rudolph + A lesser prospect then T Austin?

A Johnson, J Edleman, J Matthews, M Floyd az, C Patterson, J Hunter, C Johnson, S Bailey, A Holmes, A Wilson

I would prefer Tavon Austin to Chris Johnson, and I'm not a big Dobson fan, so I would definitely take the 1st offer.
