Sounds like the owner will pay Maclin+Vereen+? for Forte.

How much more to add to Maclin and Vereen for Forte?

Maclin's injury and the fact that he is a free agent next year (who knows where he ends up) adds no value to Vereen to me, he's trying to fleece you.

OMG !!!

He is not a lock for top 15. Just my opinion. Nice game yesterday but I simply do not trust N.E. at all outside of Brady, Gronk, and to a much lesser extent Amendola. One game for Ridley (horrible) one game for Verreen (decent but certainly not hinting towards top 15). Imo, if Vereen ends up top 15, then Ridley will not crack the top 20. And the same for the inverse, if Ridley ends up top 15, then Vereen will be around 20th or so. In ppr he has more value and will likely sniff that 15-20 range - I'll admit. But for me - I don't trust Belichick to use him consistently. Could I be wrong - sure. I doubt it though.

Big time overreactions going on around here lately. Both positive and negative it seems.

Durability has arguably been the reason why he hasn't been the man since 2011. We'll see how quickly and well he comes back from this.

This will be valuable time lost, for sure. Vereen is definitely the most talented back in NE. Time to see if he can play out the final 10 weeks or so or if this injury bug label will truly stick.

ridley has the next couple of games to wrestle back the starting job. i don't know about the injury bug, but i'm unsure if he can withstand a full workload physically, the pats would be better served giving ridley the between the tackles stuff still.

Is it Blount time yet? I'm thinking they (Ridley and Blount) will both be involved. If Ridley has fumblitus issues again - Blount all of the sudden has value.

I don't see Vareen being the #1 starter all of a sudden when he comes back. Ridley is still really good in the run game, assuming he stops the fumbles. Blount is just warming the bench until Bolden gets back. Yes, everyone has already forgotten about Bolden. NE will still be some sort of a 3 headed monster, nothing has changed. Of course, they are so good that 2 out of 3 of them will still have value.

The guy broke a bone in his hand, I don't see how that makes him injury prone. I can see if it is a ligament or something.

So what does a few weeks mean? 2-3?

My understanding is that he broke it on his first carry of the game. Somehow still managed to play with It broken. Doesn't sound like anything too major to me...maybe even plays with it in a brace this week? Purely speculation on my part, but who knows with the Pats.

I've read out at least 4 weeks. The guy just had surgery. No way he plays before week 5.
