Tannenhill or Bradford

Postby Chillin the Most » Thu Apr 11, 2013 10:50 pm

I'm thinking of acquiring one of these guys to back up Matt Ryan. I have Schaab right now but don't like him long term and his salary is climbing. I'm leaning toward Tannenhill.

As of now, Tannehill... but wait to see how the draft goes.

I've been such a huge Bradford supporter for so long. In 2010, I fully bought into the concept that he was destined to become a franchise QB. I never expected him to reach Elite QB numbers, but I thought a Rivers/Romo (at that time) level of play was preordained. Three years later I've not seen many signs that aid in keeping that faith. I would still take Bradford, but I hope and pray they start heavily investing in the offense around him. Every single position could use help.

I passed on a Bradford trade two years ago and so far am glad I did since he has not lived up to his post draft hype. The talent surrounding him concerns me more than that of Tannenhill. Especially now with Jackson gone. I like the Cook & kendricks additions but like every other receiver on the team, they have great potential but little proven consistent production. where is the Mike Wallace, Percy Harvin or even Anquan Bolden. All that being said, QBs are very hard to come by in our league. One team had to give AJG to get Kampernick and Jennings or continue with Cutler, Sanchez & Flynn. With only Schaab backing up Ryan I think I need to make a move. Don't really care for this years crop.

Tannenhill looked decent in his rookie year with little help and has better weapons this year. Bradford hasn't really improved much since his rookie year. Bradford still may improve but give me Tannenhill and the upside.
