What can I get with the 1.1?

I took over a orphaned team in a 16 team .75 PPR IDP league a few weeks back that wasn't sitting so hot. I think I can work some deals to improve most positions but RB is the worst off and I was wondering which RB you guys thought I could get with the 1.1? I currently have DMC as my best and it goes down from there. Tate, Powell, Cadet, Owens, and Dixon are the rest of the RBs.

My WRs and TEs aren't bad and I don't think my IDP players are to bad either but I really feel like I need RB help in a bad way.

Would Spiller for the 1.1 be to much to ask? I know this class isn't as good as last year but any advise would be great.

I think this is giving owners slight hesitation when it comes to trading their proven players.

Thats because nothing has happened yet. Wait until the end of February when the combine is over. Your draft picks will be worth a lot more then.

I agree you should wait til around the combine or later...but I don't care when you trade the pick...you won't get spiller for it.

I also plan on using the 1.01 to target Spiller after the combine. I will offer it with the 1.10 and Big Ben (dude was starting Vick/Foles all year). It may not be enough, but I will kep my fingers crossed.

I would set my sights lower than Spiller. Maybe you can get Murray or Mathews or some other RB with a few warts for it but I don't think that you will get a top 10 running back for it.

I agree with the consensus though, wait till the combine is over and if you can until the actual draft is over. Then people will start falling in love and the value goes up.

One of the owners in my league said he was interested in the 1.1 and to make him an offer for it. I offered him the 1.1 for Russel Wilson as that was about the best player I liked and needed a second QB.

He accepted the offer instantly. I feel it was a steal getting Russel Wilson for the 1.1. That leaves me with Big Ben and Wilson at QB for next year which in a 16 team league I am pretty happy about. I didn't answer my RB situation but I have some other players I can move around.

What are your thoughts on the move?

Wow, so much hate on Wilson? I see so much up side to the kid. I guess with this team in rebuild mode I feel as though it was a good move but I would be curious what others have to say.

The 1.1 rookie pick for Russell Wilson wasn't a great move, but without knowing your complete roster it is hard to say with 100% confidence that it was a horrible trade.

The only time 1.1 for Wilson makes sense is in a 2QB league
