I'm sorry, but Weeden is terrible.

I know I'm not saying anything groundbreaking here, but this is the first time I've actually had the "fortune" of watching a Browns game this year.

But wow, just wow, he couldn't look any worse. A quarter and a half is enough for me to know that I want nothing to do with him on my fantasy team ever. The Browns screwed this one up.

Hey, he's only 28, or, you know, 10+ months older than Kevin Kolb. Totally worth a first round pick.

Shows you how dumb the Browns are...they wanted Wright, TEN took him, so the Browns panicked and picked Weeden. Picking TRich over Tannehill at 3 was such a mistake.

I think that in today's NFL, if you don't have a franchise QB, you're moving backwards (unless you have a awe-inspiring defense like 49ers/Cards). If they hadn't picked Weeden at 22, and had instead picked a skill position player, and given McCoy one more year, I'd be fine. But Weeden was such a mistake. He has like a 7 year shelf life, and he'll spend some of developing. In today's NFL, I don't think RBs are worth a top 10 pick.

Heh, figure of speech I guess. Or maybe sorry for putting it so bluntly in case there are some passionate Cleveland fans around.

Either way, I guess I'm really not sorry, you're right :)

I agree with everything you said in that second post, I just don't think Tannehill is a franchise QB. Trent Richardson has looked really good this season when he isn't being popped in the backfield. I still can't believe they passed on DeCastro at 22.

I agree Weeden looks terrible, but so does his O-Line.

If Weeden had a tight end like Finley all would be better though.

Hahaha Little seems ok for once. For his standards. He still has two drops but some nice catches to make up for them.

It's hard to fault him for dropping some of these passes considering the plays he's making to even get to the ball.

Weeden actually is looking ok. Keep in mind this is a very good defense and he is only in his 4th game. He is nowhere close to the Jimmy Clausen type. Nobody is making any plays for him either.

Right but he's 29 like next week. How much better than this can he realistically get?
