overpay?

Is it an overpay to get (who I consider #1) Arian Foster with the team in my sig?

I give: Andre, Jamaal

I receive: Foster, Crabtree

My WR depth is solid with the team in my sig. Just not sure if Im overpaying for arian, I guess Im concerned that jamaal's injury will hamper his production, my gut says I should be patient with jamaal but I also like the prospect of having arian/megatron anchor my team for the next few years

I actually like this trade for you. Andre is nearing the end of a great career even though he will still put up good numbers for the next couple years. Charles is coming back from an ACL tear and you don't know what kind of player he will be when he gets back on the field. Foster is arguably the top RB in the NFL right now and I actually think that this is the year that Crabtree owners finally get paid off. Take it!!!!!

Andre and Charles is a fair price to pay for Foster, IMO. Crabtree is a nice throw-in. Who knows, he could finally get his act together.

I like the deal as well. AJ is a huge sell and Crab is a sneaky throw in.

When I first glanced at it, I thought fair deal, I'd do that for Foster most definitely. But looking at your starting requirements, I'm not sure its in your best interest.
With trade-
RBs- Foster, Spiller
WRs-Megatron, Marshall, Bowe
Flex- JStew and Crabtree/Daniel Thomas?

Without-
RBs- Charles, Spiller
WRs- Megatron, Andre, Marshall
Flex- JStew and Bowe

I do like Foster, but personally I think your team is stronger without the trade.

the one thing you have to remember, sugbear, is that this is May. The games don't count until September. So he has three months to take care of that Flex situation.

I say do the deal = great move for you.

Guess I will be the contrarian who believes this is too much. Foster isn't that much better than Charles. Andre is light years ahead of Crabtree and only turning 31. You're looking at 2-3 seasons from all of the big pieces and Foster doesn't add up to the other two.

I agree- it's hard to turn down the opportunity to get Foster, but Johnson overshoots the perceived gap between Foster and Charles. In my book, Crabtree doesn't compensate for that.

According to ADP, you'd be losing the deal on value. And on eye test. I'll admit that I'm wary of Johnson and more on the train of selling him than buying him.

well the offer is on the table and the owner will "sleep on it"... in the end if it doenst happen, aw shucks Im stuck with jamaal and andre, not a bad situation. Thanks for the opinions!
