DKM or 25 1?

Does it make sense to go for DK Metcalf for my 25 1st? I’ve been lucky enough to win 3 times in a row, and have traded my first round pick the last three years in big off season trades. I’d say none of those trades were distinct wins and long term were probably all slight to huge (Lance, yikes) losses. I’m debating offering the above trade to another contender. I think if I offer we can get to a deal with minimal additions, and I know wr is probably my biggest strength already, but I feel like it’s a value win. Thoughts? We do start 3 wrs, 3 flex and an sf so he would probably be a weekly starter barring a terrible matchup.

It makes sense according to value. However DK is not an asset you can be guaranteed to flip for full value in the future. I like him a lot but many others don’t. I’d say the deal makes sense if it frees you up to trade away one of your other wrs with hotter names. That would make it make sense for me.

Yep DK is squarely in the Mike Evans Zone. More valuable on your roster than what other would be willing to pay for him fair value.
