Still looking for my backup/bye week #2 QB behind Mahomes and Nix is also still hanging around at the 4.09. Other than Minshew and Daniel Jones, little else is there. That leans out my choices to Ainias, Nix, Michael Thomas, and Guerendo. Penix also there but may sit for a year or two and not be useful right now.

Nix. Most of those other guys will need multiple injuries to sniff fantasy relevance.

at 4.09 i'd go for upside, with guerendo. i wouldn't be interested in an overdrafted QB i don't believe in, in that kind of league (unless somehow QBs are valuable, but in that case nix doesn't last this long). if you think nix is gonna be a star then yeah, but i think guerendo has more chance to have a value spike that could get you a 2nd at some point.

Thanks. With limited time (late at night and didn't want to make everyone wait until the next morning) and no replies here, I made the choice with Michael Thomas, hoping for a FA signing somewhere and that he might be healthy. He wasn't available in my other 5 drafts going on right now so I guess other owners at least feel he's a hold for now.
This morning I drafted Nix with my 5.09. Guerendo was taken two picks after I got Thomas. Depending on bye weeks (still to be announced), I'll see how things play out with Nix or hit the waivers for Mahomes bye. Appreciate the responses.

I’d have gone Guerrero but I’m fine throwing a dart on MT there. He looked decent before his 100th injury last year. Likely a cut but not going to hurt you, roster spot in a lot of leagues is as valuable as a late 4th anyways.
