Marvin Harrison vs AJB?

I’d like to have the discussion about these two assets in a vacuum, especially since AJB - while a veteran - is only 26 and should have multiple years left of prime, athletic ability.
For context’s sake though, the team (Team D in sig) in which I’m questioning this deal is definitely a contender. I don’t NEED either of these guys in my starting lineup. But firepower is always helpful!

If you don’t need the production, go with Marvin and have a stud locked in for an extra 4 years vs AJB. Also, unless he stinks it up, he’ll hold more value on the market in two years than AJB will if you need to flip him.

I’m taking MHJ. I actually see him being the more productive of the 2 from the get go

That is a tall ask for someone that hasn’t played a down just yet in the NFL. AJB is proven and a ton of great years left. I’m not sure I could pull the trigger on this one and I’m not known as conservative with trades.

I’ve offered AJB for 1.02 to take MHJ in 3 leagues. Rejected each time.

In a vacuum AJB should still be valued higher than MJH today. If my competitive window was 1-2 years he’s still the preferred asset to me. If I’m rebuilding of course I’ll go with the younger asset.
But, as you’ve seen from even just these comments, you can likely get AJB + for MJH already, as wild as that is.

AJB if you’re strictly trying to win this or next year. WRs statistically have their best season at age 27, and AJB coming off back to back 1400+ yard seasons.

I offered AJB and got a kind rejection... I guess if I had 1.01 I would do the same
I'm assuming by yr 3 MHJ will be out performing AJB
the best chance we got is if Harrison starts slow
