Malik Nabers was my guy. I was a Nabers > MHJ guy pre-draft, but no longer.
Landing spots have spoken, and I now have MHJ > Nabers.

Unlike others, who worry about QB play for NYG, that is not my main concern for Nabers landing spot.
MetLife stadium's league worst turf is my main concern, as it seems to have such a long list of victims, including many Giants WR's.

MetLife has more turf complaints from NFLPA than rest of stadiums combined.
MetLife is changing to real grass in 2026, for the World Cup, because soccer players will NOT even play on that trash.
However, after World Cup, MetLife plans to change back to turf for the NFL.
Just a big old middle finger to NFL players everywhere.

My team is the Eagles, and AJ Brown injured his knee in week 18 in MetLife too, an injury which kept him out of the playoff game against the Buccaneers.

I'm not saying that MetLife stadium cost the Eagles a playoff game, but I certainly don't want "my guy" to have to play on that garbage.
Like playing russian roulette every Sunday. Especially for someone who can cut on a dime like Nabers.
The landing spot would bother me less for a bigger X receiver, who did not change directions so quickly.
Even though Kenny Golladay struggled there too.

Within that article it explains due to these complaints they changed the surface in 2023, to much more positive reviews. It's not the same turf that caused most of the injuries listed in this article.

Grass is still obviously better, but it's not the same turf that was causing the complaints.

Well, got him in two drafts at 1.05 both times. Hoping he’s great!

Bossman Nabers. Got him in 5 out of my 8 leagues, as I made a strong push a few months back to get the 1.02 (1.03 SF) before the hype built up. Nabers is landing spot proof and will be fed targets. A special talent, can't wait to watch him on Sundays.

I worked out a deal just before the draft started too.
I gave up 1.04 + 1.08 for CD Lamb.

Lamb owner was desperate at QB, and I was desperate at WR.
I promised him he could get Daniels at 1.04, because I was taking MHJ/Nabers at 1.02/1.03.
He was thrilled that he got JJM at 1.08 too.

IMO G. Wilson to Nabers is an upgrade.

No, but I definitely prefer the 23 year old who's put up back to back 1000 yard seasons with the terrible Jets quarterbacks to the unknown who we hope can start out his career that well who also has a very murky QB situation.

GW owner in my league has him OTB, he told me that if Nabers falls to 1.05 he is willing to send me GW for the pick.
I told him no, I also have Nabers over GW.

GW owners getting their feathers ruffled are probably the same guys who last year bristled at the fact that Bijan Robinson had more value than Kenneth Walker III

Also, the age gap is a real thing here. 21 vs 24. If you view Nabers and GW as close, you take the extra 3 years. Not only in production prime, but you have more resale value, all things being equal, in 3 years, lets say.
