A guy asked about D Smith and offered the 1.08 + 2025 1st. I doubt I will need Smith as a starter with MHJ and Nabers joining my team. Would you make this trade? I'd likely try and get a RB at 1.08.

I wouldn't. I don't find the players at the 1.08 range compelling enough to do this deal.

Full disclosure - I'm high on D.Smith. And also value that range of dynasty WRs.

I think this trade is good for you. Start 7 league with max of either 3 RBS or 3 WRs? Hoard those 2025 picks for the 2025 RBs, and keep contending while building.

I love Smith, too. Just don't see him surpassing AJB and becoming a fantasy star given my roster and league starting spots.

In that case, sell him. The deal is totally reasonable. I prefer Smith but I get it.

im definitely sending smith away for that. and i own lots of smith and like him but hes generally not a difference maker and i dont see a path to that changing.
