Context:
12 Team 2QB PPR Start 10
My team:
QB: TLaw, Herbert, Levis, JJ McCarthy
RB: Gibbs, Rhamondre Stevenson, Javonte, JK Dobbins, Trey Benson, Blake Corum
WR: Marvin Harrison Jr, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Aiyuk, Nico Collins
TE: TJ Hockenson, Njoku
Feeling pretty good about competing this year. RB is my biggest question mark. There is one guy who needs a QB (his only QBs currently are Cousins/Penix).
Given all this, would you do the following? Should I just wait and let the offseason play out and see what happens? I know other contenders going to be hitting this guy up for RBs all offseason.
Give: Will Levis, Mason Rudolph (Levis handcuff), Javonte Williams, 25 mid 2nd
Receive: Rachaad White, 25 mid 1st

Re: Trade for Rachaad White?
Definite pass for me.
1) You don't know if R White is starting for you. You have 6 RBs each with different yet reasonable paths to meaningful playing time. Some are already the alpha on their team, and others have a path to get there. White would be another in the mix (closer to the alpha group, of course), but I'm not sure you need him.
2) You'd then be solving one problem (RB2/3) by creating another. Your QB depth becomes non-existent. Even if JJM begins 2024 as the starter, there's no realistic expectation that he's a fantasy championship QB in 2024. Levis is also a wild-card, for sure. And I'd MUCH rather have two wild cards at QB on the bench than another RB.
The 2025 mid-1st is nice, but it's not a deal-maker. IMO, this would the kind of trade you make in-season if you know that White is the necessary piece. In May -- and with your RBs -- I can't make that case.

Re: Trade for Rachaad White?
I have zero belief in Levis, so this is something I'd be willing to do. Perhaps drop your 2nd and see if that's enough, starting QB in a Superflex may get ya more than you'd think. And some are low on White given his underlying metrics.

Re: Trade for Rachaad White?
Yeah, honestly, I’m not sure what to make of Levis or JJM. They’re just on my team because they fell to the point in drafts that I felt their potential upside is higher in these league settings than the other options I had available. I’m a little worried about getting left holding the bag on them though if they’re bad. That’s why I was thinking of this trade. Get an upgrade at RB for this year and the security of the pick value. Levis is already viewed poorly in the eyes of the community so one misstep and his value evaporates. JJM is a little more insulated since he’s new.Menace2010 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 11:04 am I have zero belief in Levis, so this is something I'd be willing to do. I think this offer has little chance of being accepted. I thought it was even without the 1st.
