Marvin Harrison Jr Official Thread
We’ve had the draft… and now time to start some threads on players so we can keep it all in one place. Apologize if this already exists for him!
I feel like we have prospect fatigue with MHJr. He was so amazing as a sophomore that he was the unanimous WR1 in this class before this past year. His stats took a small dip… but the drop off in the QB was huge. To me that speaks well of his abilities… ala JJ stilll producing with backup QBs last year. There was a pho ‘Nabers could be the WR1’ argument for a while… but I think landing in NY with Daniel Jones put that to bed.
I’ve got one 1.02 and can’t wait to take him there. He looks like a top 5 dynasty WR sooner rather than later (I think currently WR5 on DLF… which consistently over-values rookies).
Have at it - plant your flags, and let the discussion commence!

Buckeye fan who's watched every snap since 2006. He's comfortably better than any OSU WR I've ever watched in 2 decades. To the point where didn't even look like he belonged on the field. He was like that meme of the Bughatti parked in the crappy garage- but the garage is college football as a whole.
He was built in a lab to play on Sundays. Take him 1.01.

Really good player. I think he'll have a good career, but I am not sure he's some generational player that some think. I personally have him as WR2 in his class. The situation is really good though.
I think he's really safe.

Re: Marvin Harrison Jr Official Thread
One of my main leagues drafts just finished today, and I am pumped.
After finishing 12th the past two years, I rolled into this draft with five 1st round picks.
12 team SF TEP start 11, my QB room has been pretty solid: Herbert, TLaw, Watson
My WR room a mess: London, Jameson, Burks, Shaheed, in a league where we can start 6 WR's ( 3 WR/ 3 Flex).
So I spend two 1sts on CD Lamb, then drafted MHJ, Nabers, and Worthy with my remaining 1sts.
Added AD Mitchell in the 2nd.
According to Dynasty Daddy, my WR room went from 11th in the league to 1st in the league.
Now have Lamb/MHJ/London as my WR's and Nabers/Worthy/Mitchell in Flexes.
Still need better RB's, but four more 1sts in 2025 should help out there.
Drafted Wright, Estime, and Shipley with three 3rd round picks, maybe one hits.

Sweet. Lamb is the "old head" in your WR room. His brain should be fully developed now!!!MacDaddy123 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:25 pm One of my main leagues drafts just finished today, and I am pumped.

He's going to be a fantasy WR1 a long time. He is not already in Canton, but he is the clear rookie WR#1
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

I have Nabers ahead by a hair. but apparently many think MHJ is worth basically twice as much, with I find crazy. I think he's really overvalued, if that's the case.

Re: Marvin Harrison Jr Official Thread
I think it's a discussion, at least, and certainly I can't get behind the idea MHJ is in his own tier, that basically counts for twice as much. I am not seeing it, personally. If it's a consensus wide thing, then I think the market is off, and trading MHJ is worth exploring, if you can get Nabers and a significant other piece.TheTroll wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 9:06 amI agree Nabers is more in the discussion than people giving credit for.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 9:05 amI have Nabers ahead by a hair. but apparently many think MHJ is worth basically twice as much, with I find crazy.I disagree, and based on a few recent discussions, I think he's really overvalued.
Still think MHJ is really good. This is more about the other players in this class at the top being good/valuable, not saying MHJ isn't an excellent player.
