In a 12 team SF format, where do you think Levis should be valued at the moment?

I think 1.09-1.12 is the right range. I’m definitely taking Williams, Daniels, Maye, and McCarthy over him.

Nix/Penix…I could probably be swayed either way. Wasn’t really a fan of them coming in, but their draft capital is hard for me to ignore.

For me personally, it mostly comes down to the security those 6 should have for a few years. If Levis falters this year, he may be replaced as soon as next year.

Though if someone really believes in Levis, I don’t blame them valuing closer to the 1.09.

Late first. I'm buying all day long if I can do so for the 2.01 or later.

2nd at best. idk if people just havent looked at a draft board yet or what but nobody should be paying a first imo with the talents and depth in this class

taking all 6 qb over him, taking bowers, taking the big 3 wr, taking mcconkey, worthy, and prob BTJ over him but thats about the line so 2.01-2.3 is where i voted

Much higher than anything here. Levis didn't ball out his rookie year. And he flashed with limited weapons. I can't predict that he'll be a stud (we had more confidence in guys like Herbert and Stroud after their rookie years). At the same time, I have no reason to suspect he'll be a dud (we have less confidence in guys like O'Connell and Young, IMO).

Put another way: he hasn't done anything yet to make me really nervous. And they've build the team around him really well. I'd certainly take Caleb Williams ahead of him, and fantasy favors running QBs, making Daniels an upside play. But I don't have a definite reason to put any other rookie QB before him.

By value, Maye will go before Levis. I'm not sure I'd do that. And I have no reason to absolutely put McCarthy, Penix, or Nix ahead of him.

TL;DR -- I value Levis around Maye. Even if that's too high, he's above the McCarthy, Penix, Nix tier for me and, at worst, in it. Which means a late 1st in a 12-team league is waaaaaaay too late for him.

If I could get a young starting QB for an early second I do that all day. I think his value is a later 1st.

im so far polar opposite of this take its remarkable haha. aside from his first ever game where he lofted 3 bombs to hopkins what did he show you? AOC even had a 4td game and multiple other games with 2 td passes. and the guy went 2nd round idk how you have any way to say hes above dudes that just went top 12 in a loaded class. had he shown a ton i could get that argument but he doesnt have capital or a strong rookie year to elevate him so what does?

i also own some levis so im not like a biased hater haha

There's absolute correlation between draft capitol and NFL success and, in particular, with early-round 1st-round QBs. I agree with you there. Hard stop.

I'll also note that never before have 6 QBs gone this early. It's possible all six are worthy top-12 picks. It's also possible that there were just a slew of anomalous factors that, in the aggregate, caused a huge rise in QB draft value in 2024. Put another way: if it were Levis coming out in 2024 instead of McCarthy, Penix, or Nix, I be he'd have been a top-12 pick this year. There's obviously more to unpack and a lot of speculation, and the fact remains that Levis is a 2nd-round QB and all the guys this year are top-12. I'm very open to an asterisk by what happened in 2024, though, and still not sure that Levis as a rookie prospect is much different that four of the six guys drafted so early this year.

Hypothetical: Let's say Minnesota and Tennessee swapped McCarthy for Levis. Who would you prefer? Same with Penix, same with Nix. Same with Maye. I'm really curious!

Certainly a backend first. I really hope it works out for Levis. Not just for the player but also TStafford so he has piece of mind. 🤪

The Titans will do what they do - win enough games to ensure they don't get a premium pick and knock off some good teams in doing so. Levis will be just fine.
