Trade for 1.01

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade for 1.01

Postby NathanielWegman » Sun Apr 28, 2024 6:37 pm

24 team league start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE and several IDP

Basic PPR

Stroud
Kyren, Singletary
Calvin Ridley, Robert Woods, JuJu
No TE worth mentioning are my current starters

I have 1.03,1.09,2.03 and so on

I proposed 1.03,2.03 and a 25 2nd for 1.01 (his team is in a major rebuild) and has a QB (Tua) and not much else…Is this enough to maybe get me to 1.01 or do you think I’m gonna have to package both 1.03 and 1.09 or more to get up to 1?

Or should I stay put at 3 and try to fill out my roster instead of targeting MHJ
Team 1: 12 Team PPR, 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 RB/WR/TE; 23 man rosters (typical scoring, except 2 pts per completion)
QBs: Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, Derek Carr
RBs: Jonathan Taylor, Alvin Kamara, Zack Moss
WRs: Brandon Aiyuk, Jaylen Waddle, Michael Pittman, Terry McLaurin, Diontae Johnson
TEs: Trey McBride, Ja’Tavion Sanders
Draft Picks Remaining: 14.11,15.2,16.11,17.2,18.11,19.2,20.11,21.2,22.11,23.2

In a 24 team league, that's as good an offer as you can make. I'd be happy with Odunze and BPA at 1.09. You need a TE and at least 2WRs. Depth is critical in a league that size.

Yeah I need depth bad. I took over a rebuild myself, so I wouldn’t be to dejected if he rejected my offer.

I’ve received multiple offers for Stroud, involving picks. If I get something I like pre draft I thought about Caleb at 1.3 then add additional depth

On a side note, a guy has been trying to get Stroud from me…offering only picks I countered with stroud for Burrow and a 2nd round pick….he probably won’t accept but I thought maybe I could buy low on Burrow

Not sure I'd move Stroud for that, a 2nd is between 25 and 48, no IDP, can't think of 36 rookies I'd care to own lol... fine with the tier down, like Burrow, just would want another player to make it work.

In that deep a league, don't bank on CW falling to 3. Could see a QB needy team grabbing him at 1 or 2. Wouldn't move 3 unless I was blown away in that format.

Yeah, agreeing with the others, you can't really afford to move up to 1.01, you don't even have enough startable guys to set a legal lineup.

If I had the 1.01 that would not be enough for me.

Also no clue why MHJ would be your target at 1.01. I'd go Caleb very easily.

At 1.03 I wouldn't even draft MHJ, I'd still go QB. QBs are far more valuable than wrs in a format like this.

If you want to "fill out your roster" what you should be doing is trading back and getting a player plus pick.

He rejected the offer. I wouldn’t mind trading back a few slots to add more players/picks
