1.03,1.06 and 1.07 in a SF

I own the 1 03, 1.06 and 1.07 in a SF(no TE prem.) league wthe following roster:

QB: Love, O'Connell, Howell, Pickett, DTR

RB: K.Walker, Pacheco, Brian Robinson, Kendre, McLaughlin

WR: Lamb, Rashee, Demario Douglas, J.Shakir, Jameson, Mims, Mingo, Wicks

TE: Njokou, J.Ferguson

Other picks: 2.03, 2.06, 3.05, 3.06, 4.06, 5.06, 6.06
and 3 1sts next year

Pretty much needs everywhere on offense, but I'd really like to get MHJ.
Not a fan of Caleb and I really hate the landingspot of Nabers.

I dont see MHJ making it to #3. So I either need to trade up or take a player, I dont want to.


The 1.01 owner wants 1.03 and 1.06, something in that range.

What do you think?

Aside from who I'd take, would you give up 1.06 in addition to 1.03 in order to get 1.01?

I love to ‘get my guy’ but not if it’s an overpay. Assuming this is 12tm, start 10 - your roster could really use 1QB and 2 receivers.

I’m not thrilled with who is throwing the ball to Nabers. But unless I plan on insta-competing… the cream will rise to the top with time. Or grab your rookie QB of your choice not named CW… and see what falls to you at 1.06, 1.07.

I remind myself to be wary of rookie fever, and to be open to trading back or out. The value of all of your first round picks should be rising until it peaks on league draft day. For me at least, the time to move up has likely passed. I have 1.03 & 1.05, and lawsy does 1.01 & 1.02 look so much shinier!

With the amount of help your team needs. I’m staying put.
If either drops im taking Caleb or MHJ at 3. If both are gone, I go Nabers at 3

At 6&7 I take whichever of the top 4 QBs (probably JJM) are there and then Ladd McConkey

This is an easy no. Jayden Daniels will be there at 3 and probably outscore Caleb this year. You might be able to get Nabers at 6

if i were you i would put the work in about moving up to 1.2 or even 1.1 just to see the exact deal it would take to get it done. im not saying to make a deal by any means but to at least talk about it with those teams that own those picks.

at the very least you get possible information on what they might do with those picks and perhaps they have trepadation as well at draft time and they think wth lets trade back a bit, well then you got a good amount of discourse already done with them so you just check in on draft day and perhaps can swoop in. be proactive!!

to actually answer your question, i love mhjr but not quite enough to give up 2 shots at that next tier to get him. i think it would be worth a shot to offer over 1.3 and one of those 1sts next year to see if he might jump at that, but i preface this with saying i would only do that deal for mhjr. i think he is the real prize of this draft. i think if you cant get him you might as well stay put and get mcdaniels as i like him over caleb anyway
