Well still the biggest shocker is Pennix going to Atl with Kirk. Everyone had them pegged for a defensive player or even one of the big 3 wr's. Then Minny who was supposed to make a "big splash" did......and moved up 1 SPOT.....and took JJ McCarthy...ugghhhh. I think he's going to be a flop.
So the fantasy aspect of it all after rd 1.
If Caleb doesn't pass for well over 4000 yards is he a flop?
Does Worthy's stock sky rocket while landing in KC?
The real JJ, does his stock go down with McCarthy at qb?
With a SF league where does Pennix go in drafts now that he's sitting for 2 years minimum.
Will Josh Allen take step back with no legit #1 wr, or does the offense now run through the te's?

Just a few questions I had after rd 1. Thoughts?

Completely disagree with your JJ take. As a Vikings fan JJ was always their target, there was no way teams in the top 3 are moving off those picks unless something like Jefferson was offered. Instead they only had to move up one spot, give up minimal capital to draft a 21 year old QB that is 27-1 as a starter. Don't let the Michigan system blind you.

Player A: 2 year starter. 380/618 61%, 30/16 TD/INT ratio, -150 rushing yards
Player B: 2 year starter. 448/654 69%, 44/9 TD/INT ratio, 508 rushing yards

Obviously player A is Tom Brady and B is JJ. Just goes to show you have to contextualize the offense he played in. Harbaugh is never going to let his QB throw the ball 40 times a game but we did see was he did everything he was asked to do and then some.

As a Viking fan Im going to let your JJ comments slide just because its the Ohio St fan in you lol

If Caleb doesn't pass for well over 4000 yards is he a flop? No, I have a hard time calling a player a flop after one season

Does Worthy's stock sky rocket while landing in KC? Yes it has, people are talking about him as WR 3 now. I dont agree,

The real JJ, does his stock go down with McCarthy at qb? JJ averaged 107 yards pers game last year. That includes the game he played 1 snap vs the raiders and one half vs the chiefs. He only played 4 games with Kirk last year. He is QB proof

With a SF league where does Pennix go in drafts now that he's sitting for 2 years minimum? This one is tough, I think he may be a mid round pick in some leagues. Its hard to ignore 8th overall.

Will Josh Allen take step back with no legit #1 wr, or does the offense now run through the te's? The Bills may be the biggest winners so far, they have accumulated extra picks and still may land who I believe is the WR 5 in Mitchell. Josh Allen was QB 1 PPG during Diggs awful stretch. Allen will be fine because he is a monster on the ground.
