In SF, you absolutely do not have to look at him late in the first. All the guys below I’d rank ahead of him. 2.03 is the point I’d take a serious look at him.

1. CW
2. MHJR
3. Daniels
4. Nabers
5. Maye
6. Odunze
7. Bowers
8. JJM
9. Ladd McConkey
10. Xavier Worthy
11. Brooks
12. Benson
13. BTJ
14. Bo Nix

He has a lot of potential, but he had an extremely limited route tree in college from what I hear. He was awesome at what he did, but it was still enough to give me pause.

By limited you mean the most TDs out of any WR in 2023? Yep I agree. :-)

No I think he means almost half his yards came on 9 routes, you cant just run past guys in the nfl.

Yeah, by yardage because he was so great at go routes. But he ran each more slants and curls than goes and did so successfully. Those are 3 routes he can make a living on early on while he works on honing the rest of his routes.

Current SF ADP of 39th overall.

Once again, I am tapping the "Jermaine Burton" sign.

I don't see how Washington would do anything there with Waddle and Hill. I don't think they're looking to carve out WR3 volume for anyone.

I like Cowing the best of the long shots as a long-term thing, but I'm not expecting a 99th percentile rookie season out of him or any of them.

Rookie slow draft is in process (currently at pick 2.09). I have no picks left but thought I’d share results so far. My main takeaway was that even though the first round and beginning of the second is awesome, this draft is very shallow beyond that. I would be aggressively trying to use any late picks this year to trade up or kicking them down the road to next year.

12 Team 2QB PPR start 10

1. Caleb Williams
2. MHJR
3. Malik Nabers (not a bad pick of course, but surprising given format and this guys QB room)
4. Jayden Daniels
5. Rome Odunze (another stunner as this guy desperately needed a QB)
6. Drake Maye
7. Brock Bowers
8. JJ McCarthy
9. Brian Thomas Jr
10. Xavier Worthy
11. Jonathan Brooks
12. Ladd McConkey (same guy had picks 11 and 12)
2.01 Michael Penix (Cousins manager)
2.02 Trey Benson
2.03 Bo Nix
2.04 Keon Coleman
2.05 Ricky Pearsall
2.06 Troy Franklin
2.07 Adonai Mitchell
2.08 Xavier Legette

Blake Corum, Roman Wilson, and Jayl’n Polk are the only guys left that I would consider spending a pick on, personally, if I had any left.

Thanks for posting. I'm with you that the excitement level falls off after a few picks in to the 2nd round. I traded away the 2.06, 3.01 and 4.12 and have no regrets. But I'm excited about the 1.03/1.05/1.10/2.01 that I still hold.

I’m actually back on the clock after clearing some guys I was going to have to cut for another shot. Blake Corum and Jaylen Wright look like the best of what’s left. Gotta go Blake, right?
