2 1sts, high 2nd + Rhamondre for 1.03. You are definitely putting all in on 1.03 this year.
Let’s put it this way, if I had 1.03 and someone blindly sent me this offer, I would highly consider it and prob eventually accept.

Re: Is this Rookie Fever?
I guess my thought is that I have a fairly strong roster, and the first next year will be late (of course there is always some risk). Rhamondre is a nice piece, but he’s also 26 on a not great team. I am worried that I’ve got my rookie blinders on though. I can feel the fever, and I definitely have some FOMO of the top guys. If this goes thru, then I’d probably be looking to trade a WR (Higgins or Nico) for RB help later in the offseason.

I’d stand pat. RB is more a weakness on your team than WR.

Re: Is this Rookie Fever?
It's actually not a crazy overpay if you there's a guy you LOVE. If that's the case, I could sign off on this.
For me, though, I'd hold.
1) There are 7.5 players currently considered in that top tier with JJ McCarthy the 0.5. I'm confident he'll go pretty high and will end up in that top rookie tier, meaning your current 1.08 pick should net you a great player. I don't think the tier up to 1.03 is worth it on value.
2) On teams going for it, having future picks, IMO, is incredibly helpful. In-season, it allows to plug any holes. I'm all for moving that pick, but I don't think this is the absolute trade that would make me want to move off that future asset.
TL;DR -- No, not a crazy overpay, IMO, if there is a guy you love. Still, I'd hold here given the quality of the assets and the value in having a future 1st-round pick to bank on to support a championship run.

Re: Is this Rookie Fever?
True 2QB like this says, or SF?
If true 2 QB, I want the 1.03. 4 teams at a minimum won’t even have a starter for bye weeks unless injuries break right and they happen to have a fill in. And if an injury happens to 1 of their top 2, they’re completely sunk. QBs are insanely valuable here in my opinion.
If SF, I could go either way. I’m not a big believer in Rhamondre, but I’d probably hold. 1.08 will still net you a pretty high draft prospect, and 2.02 should be decent as well.

If you're moving up for a QB in a 12tm2QB, I like the trade a lot. Pricey, but I'd much rather take a QB at 1.03 than whatever dregs available at 1.08.
If you're moving up for any other position, I'd probably hold. I wouldn't hate the deal if you went through with it for a WR, but I would not do it myself.

Re: Is this Rookie Fever?
I don’t think your roster is as strong as you think it is. Hock could be a shell of himself this season, Nico Collins could take a huge hit with Diggs coming over, and projecting forward the only reliable rb you have is Gibbs. This move doesn’t seem wise in my opinion. Even with a strong contender I’d still probably advise against it. Your weak spot is rb and next years draft is supposedly rb heavy. And the 1.08 will still net you a really good player, a player that has a non-zero chance of being better than the player at 1.03.
Edit: no te premium would devalue bowers a bit I suppose, so the 1.08 isn’t as good. So, I can see the idea of the trade. If it were me, I’d try dumping Rhamandre into deals to move up with other owners to move up and see how far just he gets you. I’d try to hold onto the future 1st if possible

Setting aside value, I don't like it for your team. I'd rather take a QB at 1.02 and keep all the rest of that draft capital.

Dregs could be JJMC at 1.8 - Wouldn’t that be something??Anteaters wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 5:42 am If you're moving up for a QB in a 12tm2QB, I like the trade a lot. Pricey, but I'd much rather take a QB at 1.03 than whatever dregs available at 1.08.

Daniels is a Top Tier pick.
There's really no comparison between the two for me, as far as which I think has a better chance to be a long-term starting QB in the NFL. Also, there is no comparison about which has the higher ceiling. Daniels in both cases, by a lot.

Re: Is this Rookie Fever?
Rhamondre isn't relevant at this point, IMO. I think it's a fine offer, considering it's 2 QB. You can even move back from 1.03 a spot or two and get more capital back. The reality is, you want to be in the top 4 or 5 of this class in this format. That's the price, and I think it's fine.

What are the starting positions? I like the package by a ton unless it’s very shallow.
