Looks like he’s got some serious anger management issues that include punching a female fan in the head after the TEN game and taunting UGA fans after a TD. I’ve heard that he’s a serious locker room cancer and that his own teammates can’t stand him.

It’s really a shame because this kid is loaded with talent. He has enough game that he could be a real impact guy at the next level, but it looks like he’s got some demons inside him and is his own worst enemy. He’d sure be worth a flyer in the event he manages to gain control of himself as he gets older and into the pro environment, but just be prepared that it could end up a totally wasted pick.

This ^ post is haunting me, so I feel compelled to reply!

I'm assuming Harrison will be long gone by the time I draft in round 1. But I'm going to need someone to talk me off the ledge from drafting Rice and Gore. What if we are underestimating these guys like we (and the NFL) did with their Dads?

Everything at the right cost I suppose! I guess I should admit my bias: Mr. Gore spent a LONG time dominating my league mates. What an awesome career, and probably the best draft pick I ever hit on late-ish in my entire dynasty career.

Obviously landing and draft spots will be important. But at a certain point in every draft, won't these names be staring at you like a bright red light more so than so many other dart throws?

Well, pick #225 in the 7th round. Guess the experts didn't think much of him. But at least going to the Chargers provides a landing spot with opportunity. At that point in the draft though, it might be more of a blessing to end up a UDFA so you could at least pick the spot where you want to sign.

All I know is that this Rice is heavily discounted. You can find it in the clearance aisle under "90's Name-Brand Nepotism".

Why "experts" ignore Jermaine Burton tho? The Price is Rice, but twice as nice...
I think it is because of his off the field issues and switching to a new school every other week. Plus the Georgia and Bama coaches had nothing good to say about him.
I know, I get that.

I'm just saying - so long as you're gambling deep in the 4th... why not gamble on the guy that's actually talented at football...
7th round pick for "Brandon Rice" huh.

This is the Jermaine Burton thread now. 8-)

I love the landing spot. 100% what I wanted as an owner. (Who bought in the 4th round of rookie drafts)
If he can't make an impact with the Charges and their current slate of WRs, easy cut. No need to hold and hope.

You’re just going to cut the “2024 Puka”? There’s some strong conviction.

If he does nothing his rookie year, he isn't the 2024 Puka now is he?
