People in the comments need to stop assuming full health for ARSB for his entire career. Spread the risk out over 3 players instead of 1. This is tough but in the end a deal you have to take.
I love seeing the different player valuations and strategies on here.
That said, I'm not sure how this is really a discussion. I'm not sold on AR as being that guy, health aside. YMMV ofc. That said, Oh Pee is literally slotting in a rookie he hasn't even drafted yet into his starting lineup with a QB coming off a season ending injury (a reconstructed throwing shoulder, right?). He has no RBs and no WR or TE depth. This deal should be a no-brainer IMO.
Yeah, St. Brown turned out to be a stud but he wasn't a better prospect than Williams, Harrison/Nabers/Odunze, or Bowers was; he was a rare Day 3 guy that just happened to hit, a la Puka. Folks on this site keep saying they don't trade/draft for position, they draft for value. I would think getting 3 players on the "generational"/elite rookie side of the spectrum for a guy that was a 2021 2nd rounder would be the ultimate "value" move.
I don't have St. Brown as being better than Chase or JJeff, and all of the "big 3" WRs this year are better prospects than all the receivers I've named so far other than Chase; they'll all have better draft capital and possibly QBs too.
Unless all of the guys I mentioned bust, this might end up looking silly if Oh Pee passes, especially if Williams comes as advertised. (He's supposedly the second best QB prospect since Andrew Luck, right?)
Folks can do what they want with their own teams, that's a given, but I would have smash accepted first and then made the thread if it was me.
tl;dr: Williams + Odunze + Bowers > St. Brown
