These would be my three. Payton seems to like McLaughlin, and if Houston was sold on Pierce they wouldn't have paid Mixon what they did.

I'm dropping Pierce before McLaughlin. HOU has told us twice that they don't trust Pierce. It's painful to cut him and he'll immediately get claimed off waivers but it's the better move. McL has upside, Pierce doesn't.

I would be interested to trade Pierce to the Mixon team for literally anything I could get. Maybe that team could use the RB depth? If they aren't interested, that will tell you a lot.
All this because, I wouldn't be thrilled with having to drop Perry.

Great idea. I've been moving handcuffs to clear space across all of my leagues.
