Draft Slot Help

I have the first selection of draft slot in a 14 team SF/6pt passing TD/PPR/1TEP/.25 ppc. It is a 3RR. What does everyone think is the best draft slot to be?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I select draft slot 1, and then I let the league know that I am willing to trade down. Lots of managers put a sizable premium on that 1st pick and it’s an easy way to pick up value.

I usually like to figure out my tier 1 of dynasty qbs, and then take the pick that gives me the last player in that tier. Or you can do what repkllrs said but if nobody wants to trade up then it sucks.

14 team superflex will spread the QBs thin. You want your anchor in the first but then also have the best shot of a QB2

1.12 because of the 3RR.

I'm likely taking QB/WR at the 1/2 turn and then a QB at pick 25. I for sure want two QBs in the first three rounds. By taking the 1.12 you miss out on the elite guys but should end up with a pairing like Kyler/Tua which would be fine. Especially considering you should get a WR like ARSB or Lamb at the 1/2 turn. If people reach on WRs in the first, you can go QB/QB at the turn.

It’s a 14 team league, so pick 25 would be pick 31. Would that impact your analysis?

Same analysis. Still sticking near the end of the round.

This is always where I land and well laid out. QB in the 1st feels like a must in a 14-team as you don't want to get stuck without QB. For example, Fantasy Pros ranks the top 14 as follows:
1 Josh Allen (BUF)
2 Patrick Mahomes II (KC)
3 Jalen Hurts (PHI)
4 Lamar Jackson (BAL)
5 C.J. Stroud (HOU)
6 Joe Burrow (CIN)
7 Anthony Richardson (IND)
8 Justin Herbert (LAC)
9 Kyler Murray (ARI)
10 Caleb Williams (FA)
11 Trevor Lawrence (JAC)
12 Jordan Love (GB)
13 Dak Prescott (DAL)
14 Brock Purdy (SF)

I'd want one of the top 12 on this list.... might even be top 11 because I'm not a Kyler guy. Then either take that position to get the benefit of the 3rd round reversal or hammer one of those top 3/4 elite QBs. I'd want 1.03 or 1.11 personally depending on how you want to play the reversal.

It's either 1.01 or 1.14 for me. I guess I'd take the 1.14 to have 3 of the top 29. Could very well just go 3 QBs.

In a 14 teamer, I put additional value on getting on of the truly elite guys. I would not want to be later than 6. Would probably lean pick 1 though because it only takes one owner to overpay to make that pick so much more valuable.
