Offer on the table of Evan Engram for 2025 2nd. I am a contender, and also have Dalton Schultz and Pat Freiermuth as my current TEs.

Is an aging Engram an upgrade from my current TEs worthy of a 2nd?

In my league, Engram was TE2 last year, TE1 if you count week 18. They've lost Ridley and added G Davis so far. He should see plenty of targets in '24.

Schultz is going to lose targets. I think Freiermuth bounces back some but not enough if you're a true contender. A likely late 25 2nd is nothing imo. And it's a 1QB league so that pick is worth less.

Engram would be old if he was a rb, but in TE years, he’s in his prime.

It's a 2nd. Any time you can improve a contender for a 2nd, you almost have to pull the trigger. My only hesitation is this doesn't appear to be a TEP league.

Engram easily for me.

engram had the 4th most receptions in the national football league in 2023.

he is definitely an upgrade on what you have. not that i expect engram to replicate the season he just had, but still, schultz and freiermuth aren't close for me. also, a late 2nd, in a 1QB league, one year from now? sign me up! you can probably recoup a 3rd by selling one of the other two.
