1.01 OR Kenneth Walker and 1.05 (POLL)

Hey everyone,

I have been working with the owner of 1.01 for awhile now. He needs a RB and a TE. He is VERY close to accepting this deal:

I send Walker and 1.05 (he would take Bowers if still there)
He sends 1.01

Signature 1 - 12 Team Superflex 1.5 TE PREM

I would most likely be targeting MHJ with 1.01, possibly trading back to 1.02 if that owner is desperate for Caleb.

This would leave my RB room super thin. I would probably have to sell my 2025 first to get a starter for this year. This move/selecting Marvin Harrison Jr would make my WR room incredible though. I would have Ceedee/Chase/AJ Brown/MHJ. That would be worth it, correct? I can figure out RB before the season starts.

Which league? Are you contending or rebuilding? I get the value of 1.01 here, but if it's the squad in your signature you're stacked at WR, should be good at QB and have zero RBs behind Walker/Swift. If I'm trying to compete, whichever WR/QB slips to 5 and Walker is probably the better option.

its fair, I voted for 1.01 simply because I worry Charbonnet taking Walker Reps.

You're exactly right. This trade would leave my RB room VERY thin to the point where I would not be able to compete this year. I was thinking I could try to make a trade before the season for a starting RB. Possibly trade my 2025 1st for the best RB I could get like Jacobs, Cook, White, Pollard, etc. Could also wait it out and pickup a RB next year with my first (should be a stacked class).

Your point is exactly why I posted this. Is it worth it to add MHJ or should I just hold 1.05 and take Nabers/Odunze or the best QB if WRs go early?

1.05 is quite valuable in SF and more so in TEP. You appear to be a contender so I'm passing. Walker is a weekly starter in FF and for sure on your team. I get the Charb concerns but basically every RB has some version of that these days. There aren't that many Breece Halls.

Since you start 2 rbs, and already have 3 stud wrs, I'd hold onto Walker and take bpa at 1.05, either a wr or qb.

Update on this - We just completed the trade. I got 1.01. He got Walker and 1.05.

Haven't looked at the other responses, but I'd rather keep the 1.05 and walker in a SF if I was a contender. If in a rebuild I'd be okay taking the 1.01 and going Williams but I'd rather get a little more on top. Honestly I'm not sure there really is a huge difference from 1.01 to 1.05/1.06. the top end talent (MJH and Caleb) have the name cache and hype but I think Maye, Nabers, and ordunze are fairly similar.

Well then I guess go Williams and then see if you can get some vet rbs like mostert, Conner, kamara, etc etc later in the off season
