Trade Advice

Postby Last Place » Sat Apr 06, 2024 10:38 am

Team in signature. Im wanting more draft capital in the upcoming draft. Im taking a QB at 1.3, so levis is expendable. The team at 1.1 is in complete rebuild and doesn't have a single starting QB, even if he takes one at 1.1, he's still in need. I'm thinking of offering Levis, K. Miller and 2.9 for 1.10 and 2.1. I'm worried my offer is light and wanted to get some outside perspective. Thanks in advance.
12-team Superflex, PPR, TE Premium
QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, SF, 4 FLEX

QB: Allen, Tua, McCarthy O'Conner
RB: Etienne, Hall, Gibbs, J. Brooks, K. Miller, D. Singletary, Spiller, Kelly
WR: G. Wilson, Harrison Jr, Nabers, Odunze, B. Thomas Jr, R. Wilson, Downs, Q. Johnston, Toney.
TE: Kincaid, Pitts

If my team was a complete rebuild that earned the 1.01, I wouldn’t have much interest in giving up draft capital. The offer is fine. If he believes that either Miller or Levis could hit, I’m saying there’s a chance.

The only reason I've even thought about the offer is the other owner asked about Levis availability. But I'm like you, I probably would sit tight in his situation.

i know this isn't really your question here but im wondering why you are so dead set at taking a qb at 1.3? you can start 2 qb and you are set there with your starters but you're kinda thin at wr especially for your starting requirements. i'd be looking at wr at 1.3 especially if the 2 in front of your go qb.

in the long run i think letting levis be your fill in qb and getting a great rookie wr is much better than taking another gamble at qb and having weak wr play

I have picks 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6. I don't believe in Levis and im not 100% sold on Tua. My plan right now is:

If 1.1 and 1.2 go QB, I grab the best QB left then at 1.5 I'm still getting MHJ or Nabers and can still get Odunze at 1.6.

If it goes QB WR at 1.1 and 1.2, I'll grab best WR left at 1.3 and then whichever of the top 3 QBs fall to me at 1.5.

I 100% plan to grab a QB and 2 WRs in the top 6 picks.

if harrison jr is there at 1.3 you saying about going another qb is totally wild to me. mhj is the prize of this draft even more than the qbs imo now it being superflex i can see MAYBE caleb going over him but in no way should mhj fall below 1.2

But if you’re getting the 1.10 and 2.01 for a QB in which you have no faith I don’t see the issue. Those picks will yield players like Thomas and one of the RBs after the QBs and top WRs go (some to you with those other picks). I’d feel better if you could hold Miller or the 2nd, but if that breaks the deal I’d take it as is.

I don't believe in Levis or Miller so I don't see the issue if it gets accepted, but yes, that deal is very light on your end.
