Should I counter?

Team 1 in signature.

I'm trying to get the 1.02 from a QB-needy team.

I offerd him Levis and Addison for the 1.02. He counterd with Richardson + Addison which I am not willing to accept.

I'm thinking about countering with Bryce Young + Addison. Is that an overpay?

My plan is to grab Caleb, MHJ, Nabers and whatever QB is left at 1.05.

I'd move off Bryce young with how Putrid his oline is and how small he is for the chance at all three of those and the other QB. Caleb Williams is going into a significantly better situation that what young is in so he should be an upgrade already.

Id hate to throw in the towel on Young after one season but this is a solid trade to reset.

Young + Addison is pretty much the same as Levis + Addison
I don't see you getting the 1.02 unless you're willing to give up 1.05+ or London+

The 1.02 is currently a top-15 dynasty asset. You're trying to pair two players outside the top-50. I think you've gotta go back to the drawing board

Yeah he rejected that as expected (Bryce + Addison for 1.02). Would you add anything or just stay where I am?

I'd really like to get the 1.02 while get rid of one of my QBs not named Richardson.

I don't see the need for the 1.02. You get Caleb and then Nabers/MHJ then you could also land Odunze. Selling Young now just doesn't make sense. Your team is in a good spot and you have so many valuable picks this year. Just hold

He's got Pitts and Kincaid and it's not TE Premium so I don't think that changes anything.

I asked him what he would need to make it happen. We'll see.

Had a couple of conversations with him in the past months, he's really hard to trade with. Maybe it's because my offers are too light? I don't know.

I mean those offers might be fine on a trade calculator. But this is where context and logic come in. The reason you're willing to move on from Bryce Young is not a secret to any reasonably active manager. Year 1 was bad, year 2 will be a struggle. Addison has the alpha-est(?) of alphas ahead of him in JJ, and will have either Sam Darnold (at worst) or an unknown rookie (at best) throwing to him. Those would be easy declines for me too for a borderline 1st round startup pick

consider this a conjugal visit from Prison Mike... great advice!
