Team 2 in signature:

Took over this team as part of a dispersal a couple of months ago. Now looking like I’m in it to win it this year.

Thoughts on if I this team has a shot this year?

No, but this team will be just good enough to win enough to be incredibly frustrating when it turns out to be a pretender late in the season.

If the league was TEP? This roster would be closer to contender.

If the question marks for 2024 answer the call? This team could move closer to being a contender.

But it should be a very fun ride!

Rename the team “80 for Brady” and enjoy the ride!

It's pretty risky to ride that team too deep in to '24. Problem is you don't have particularly good draft capital for the next two years. The 3rds and 4ths just don't cut it. Unless you sell off some assets, this is going to be painful in '25 and '26. If it's me, I'm starting the rebuild ASAP. It's probably too expensive to buy back in to this draft but you can acquire '25 firsts once the playing season is underway and folks want guys like CMC and Hill.

I'm holding on to Downs and Tua and selling everything else - prospects and picks.

Agree with the above this roster is going to be gross to ride into the sunset…
Very much disagree with the above they this doesn’t have a chance to win. Starting with cmc hill adams, and you have plenty of depth, of course it has a chance and is almlst certainly one of the top 3 teams right now.

looks like a good roster for 2024 but no firsts to work with means you gotta sell off soon as you lose a couple games.

X2. If healthy this team absolutely has a chance to win in 2024.

Agreed this team has as good a shot as any especially after seeing what won most leagues last year lol. You have to decide if one chance at a run is worth it or sell off in season as injuries and team start to separate themselves.

Seems about 50/50 if this team can win it all. A bit surprised by those who think that it can’t. But I’m not discouraged- all in is all in. And if I can win it in my first year in the league then 2025 and 2026 will be alright to me. 🙂

Someone above said something very important. If everyone remains healthy, this team can compete to win it all.

I don't think this team will remain healthy and the big reason is age. Age never goes backwards.

Nearly all of your WRs 29+ missed games in 2022 and/or 2023 because of injuries. Adding a year to their age will only increase their odds of being injured in 2024. Even if they don't miss games, their advanced age (for athletes) will make them slightly-or-significantly lesser versions of themselves.

IMO, it is unrealistic to expect so many older players to all be healthy all season and produce like they did when they were 26.

Then there's Mostert, who (and I'm the biggest Dolphins fan around) is unlikely to repeat his 2023 performance. Kamara is a year older. BRob has playing time competition. Roschon faded last year and is now has Swift ahead of him. A lot of uncertainty with your RBs.

Kelce is entering his age 35 season. Geno backslid a bit. Stafford is always now a risk to miss at least a couple of games.

In your situation, sure it makes sense to hold and hope for the best. I would, too. Just don't expect the best case scenario.

I completely hear what you’re saying and that’s what makes it fun. The unknown. I believe a significant injury to McCaffrey, Tyreek, or DaVante makes this much harder. And given their age it has a higher percentage. But outside of an injury to one of those 3 I actually like my depth.

Depth:

RBs- BRob, Warren, Charbonnett, Roschon, McLaughlin
WRs- Godwin, Downs, Gabe, Mike Williams
TE- Friermuth

Fingers crossed! 😂😂😂
