Those were quite the discounts. Why did you feel the need to trade right now for those prices?
I would buy Gibbs, Allen, Wilson, Rodgers, Conner, and A. Jones easily at all those prices.

For context I offered 2 mid firsts this year for Gibbs and was laughed at. The counter was hilariously bad so the valuation on Gibbs in that league was extremely high

Yeah. I think the move has been get the pick right outside the top tier since it keeps expanding. At first it was a tier of 6. Then 7. Now 8. One good landing spot for Worthy, Thomas, Mitchell, or a RB goes to Dallas/Chargers/Raiders and it could be a tier of 9. Much easier to go for those second tier firsts now since everyone has their eyes on the top tier of guys

Mid-season I moved Dell, Stroud, 2024 1.10, and a (probably late) 2025 1st for a 2024 1st (ended up being the 1.02).

I was planning on taking MHJ anyway, and 1.02 wanted to lock in on Caleb, as he knew I had been getting feelers from other managers trying to move up to 1.01.

So with this deal, I am still assured of getting my guy, MHJ, and also added my fourth 2025 1st round pick.

Because I just took over this orphan and when else am I supposed to buy picks? I’d rather unload them now and lock in the 1.01 for next year. The Gibbs trade I think is fair bc the 1.07 guarantees me one of the consensus top 7, who I think is close to Gibbs anyways, plus the 2.03, 3rd and I think Dotson has some talent that hasn’t been shown yet.
The other trades are for extremely aging players and their value isn’t going anywhere but down, so trade them ASAP for whatever I can get.
