Move up to 1.01?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Move up to 1.01?

Postby Jcedwards » Sat Mar 16, 2024 10:58 am

I currently have 1.02. I’m interested in moving up to 1.01 to secure Harrison. What would it realistically take to move up 1 spot?

Or am I better off holding what I have and taking the 2nd best WR (probably Nabors at this point).

you are talking the difference between 1.a and 1.b. I know i'm in the minority here but nabers could very well be better than MHJ (or at least as good). If MJH is your guys and you have to get him, then test the waters but i would be happy to sit at 1.02 and take either one of them all day long. You wont be disappointed

Appreciate the input. I’m high on Nabors too, so it depends on landing spots of course. But I’m content staying at 1.02 if the landing spot of good (or if another player lands in an even better spot. Just testing the waters to see what it might cost to move up.

The cost to move is not worth it IMO. I mean if you can swap for a third, go for it—that's the difference of the cost in KTC. I expect the cost will be prohibitive though. If you really want Harrison, try a late 2nd and see if he'll bite. He may not care. Depends on how badly you want Harrison. I moved up from the 1.09 to 1.01 and I REALLY overpaid. I got rid of basically all of my depth and aging studs as well as late 1st in 24 and 25. So go get your guy if you're in love with Harrison. I wanted as many shares as him as I could get. So far looks like it'll be one, maybe two.

I have 1.2 and I’d consider moving up to 1.2 if the cost is right, but I’m guessing it’s at least a 1st (likely more), so I’m good holding

If it's me, I'm not willing to give anything extra up. I'm one that feels it's very possible Nabers is the better fantasy asset.

If Harrison is your guy, ask about the difference in his mind or if he's willing to move off the pick. Quick and painless.

Appreciate the input. Yea I'm not that high on Harrison to give up another 1st to move up 1 spot. It is very possible that Nabors ends up the best WR and goes to the better spot in the short term.
