12 team 2QB PPR
I’ve been to the big game the past two years and won this past year. I have this offer being discussed, but it’s probably an over pay.
Give: Jacobs, Ridley, Minshew, Freirmuth, 25 1st (mine likely late)
Receive: Barkley, Gainwell, Kittle, 2.05
The first is the only piece in this that really gives me any pause, because ya never know what could happen. What do ya’ll think?

Re: Barkley Trade
Yeah it seemed fairly reasonable until I got to the picks.
Think I'd hold.
I don't know that Jacobs -> Saquon or Muth -> Kittle are big enough upgrades to justify Ridley + 1st, even with the 2nd coming back

Re: Barkley Trade
I wouldn’t trade Jacobs for Barkley straight up. This is an easy decline for me.

Re: Barkley Trade
Definitely prefer barkley to jacobs and kittle to muth but as stated above I’m not adding ridley and a future 1st to do it.

Re: Barkley Trade
I do see that...especially because PHL is usually a committee backfield. Jacobs has a lot higher ceiling.BabyChark23 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 10:23 amI suspected it was an overpay as well. I’m curious why you wouldn’t move Jacobs for Barkley straight up. You see Jacobs as better than Barkley?

Re: Barkley Trade
I see Jacobs’ landing spot as ideal. While I am of course a fan of Barkley when he plays, I think Jacobs’ skill set fits perfectly with GB.TheTroll wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 12:10 pmI do see that...especially because PHL is usually a committee backfield. Idk. I'll believe Gainwell is taking a significant % of snaps away from Saquon when I see it.TheTroll wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 12:10 pmI do see that...especially because PHL is usually a committee backfield. Swift was a limited player on an expiring contract making $1.7m
Sanders was a limited player on a rookie contract never eclipsing $1.2m
Enter Saquon Barkley, who has a workhorse build, an all-purpose skillset, and is set to make $37m over the next 3 years ($26m guaranteed). I think there's valid concern about Hurts stealing goal line/short yardage carries and not maximizing Saquon in the passing game, but I think it's possible the RBBC approach was largely based on the personnel in their RB room in recent years.
