Rate my trade

In my first IDP dynasty league so I am also leery of any trade involving defensive players.

Gave: St. Brown, Achane, Tindall, Asamoah, 2025 3rd

Received: J. Chase, P. Queen, Spillane, 2025 2nd

I really needed LBer help and the league rewards tackles quite a bit. I still have CMC, Swift, Gibbs and Z. White at RB.

You landed Chase, so can't be too upset. But don't worry about filling out IDPs in the off-season. You can land quality LBs by monitoring depth charts closely. I've got an ungodly number of KJ Britt shares for example with D. White very likely to depart in FA.

so, saint brown and achane for chase? seems fair enough for both sides.
you don't need LBs in march, unless your league starts 7LBs and everyone hoards them.

as for trades involving IDPs, if you can sell non-stud IDPs for offense or 2nd and/or 3rd rounders (or even 4th in many cases), do it, the player pool is so big you'll find replacements easily. get those old LBs as throw-ins in trades (lavonte david, demario davis... a bit late for those specific two now maybe, but two/three years ago you could have gotten them for next to nothing and they put up the points).
