Feels right to me.

Mid 2nd feels right. I targeted him with picks in that range last year, and am still high on him as a prospect. Some owners may take less given how bad of a season he just had.

I really doubt anyone is dumping him for a mid 2nd in a TE premium, they paid more than that last year and TEs often take a year. Worth a shot though.

What did he pay for Mayer in last year's draft, that is the key.
He probably paid > 2.02 in the 2023 draft.
If he had paid 2.05 - 2.12, he probably would have sold for 2.02.
