Looking to four-peat and trying to get younger at the same time. I’m resolved to ride cmc into the dirt, but thinking of moving Adams. Devonta manager put him on the block, is Adams and my 25 1st (likely late) a fair offer? He would round out my wr corps nicely and I’m a big fan, but would probably not provide much of a boost next year, if any, over Adams and cost me a future 1st. Also a little wary of having 2 of my top 4 receivers being the clear wr2 on their own team, but I love his talent. Thoughts?

If the other own is down on Smith you may get lucky, but I doubt this gets it done. Adams will only appeal to a handful of teams given his age and unstable QB situation...

It's a solid offer. The Smith manager should see it as getting the equivalent of two firsts at least. And they put Smith on the block which says something.

If you’re planning on competing again, I’d wait to see how the season goes before trading anyone, including Adams. He’s set for positive regression with anyone better at QB, and probably could then be sold for a young WR to a contender if your season doesn’t pan out.

I get that, my worry is the qb play doesn’t improve much and Pierce seems to really want a run first team. We may be settling on Adams and Ferguson for Devonta which I think I have to do.

Ended up making the deal of Adams and Ferguson for Devonta. Feels good to get out from under Adams before he loses all value and Ferguson felt like a very reasonable tax to pay with Laporta and Pitts on the roster. Thanks for all the feedback!

Thanks, I decided to approach him and see if a Davante/Devonta swap interested him acknowledging I’d have to add something to make up for the age difference, but not specifically mentioning my 1st, and he suggested Ferguson so it worked out well.
