Conner is the definition of an 'Erick Decker All-Star' - someone who is valued lowly but always produces solid stats (in his case WR2 #'s).

In my primary league below I drafted him as a rookie in like round 20 of the startup draft 7 years ago... and he's been an absolute steal. Whenever he plays (which is the Q for him) he's basically a high-end RB2/low-end RB1. This may be the year the wheels fall off... but if you can get him for a late pick he's an absolute steal.

This doesn’t quite qualify as an “unattractive” RB buy, but where is everyone at on Walker? What pick equivalent range should he be valued at if you were looking to trade for an RB? Seems like his value is coming down to earth quite a bit.

Late first in SF, mid in 1qb

Unfortunately for Walker managers, I think this is right.

Walker was an obvious sell high at his ADP peak of #5 overall in 1QB. But he's a buy right now. Projects as a solid RB2 for '24 and is less likely than most to be impacted by the draft (that already happened).

STOCK UH-OH:

James Connor
Jonathan Brooks / Miles Sanders / Chuba Hubbard (??)

I may would add Rachaad White to that stock up column. I’m sure they’ll add someone in the 5th or 6th round, but who really cares at that point. All signs are pointing for another big workload for him, albeit with an improved O-line.

So we're just writing off Conner now with Benson?

Not right away. 3rd round RB's rarely start early. Benson is likely the future starter in the desert, after Conner, whenever that is.

There are 3 certainties in life:

Sun rises in the east
Death and Taxes
Connor out 3-6 games due to injury.

LOL shame I won't be able to grab Benson anywhere to backup my Conner shares.

Benson is easily the first RB drafted in rookie drafts. I just can’t believe DAL hasn’t figured out a way to get a RB yet. Their next pick isn’t until rd 5 either.

But Jerry said Dallas was "All In" and called Jonathan Brooks the greatest interview he'd ever had in 30 years in the league!

How could this happen to Cowboys nation??? HOW!?

My two cents - folks are too down on the Brooks landing spot. I think it's pretty damn good. Miles Sanders is cleared washed and Hubbard is a rich man's JAG. We expected Brooks to be eased in coming off the injury. This is a backfield he can take over when healthy. Squarely in the mix for the late first ~1.10 in SF.
