Olave + Walker for Gibb + Laporta

In team #1 in my signature, have potential deal to move kenneth walker, Olave, and early 25 2nd for Jahmyr Gibbs and Laporta. 1QB league.

Thank you for response! Feels like gibbs Nd laporta just in much better situations right now where theyll be utilized to their potential. But im hesitant. Love olave and walker.

Seems about right on value to me. Probably slightly in favor of the Gibbs/Laporta side.

Olave = Laporta

I'm not sold on Olave at current cost. He's generally a tier too high IMO. Closer to Devonta Smith than he is to Garrett Wilson. A very solid player, but over-valued a bit.

All great FF assets. Pick the side that excites you the most.

Slight preference for Gibbs/LaPorta, but I don't love having two prime pass-catchers on the same team. And you're depleting your WRs a bit.

I'd rather hope that Pitts emerges and keep what you have.

I think you are giving a bit too much in a non-TE premium format. Walker III is still a really solid younger RB. I don't think the price is terribly though if you are much higher on Gibbs and LaPorta.

I agree with tstaf that Olave is a tier too high. I dont know how Olave is >>> better than Laporta. Even if Laporta was positioned as a receiver he outscored Olave this year. 87/86 Rec, 1123, 891 yards, 3/10 TD and Laporta was a rookie and plays a premium position as far as scarcity goes.

This is the Laporta side for me and to be honest, I dont think its that close. I would much rather have Gibbs in a PPR than Walker and would rather have Laporta over Olave straight up. Laportas ADP is also better than Olaves as is Gibbs over Walkers ADP.

Take this deal now.

I agree with Gibbs over Walker.

Not sure I’m 100% on board with LaPorta over Olave. But with the starting requirements, you’re pretty much locking in Hall, Gibbs, Kyren, Chase, Metcalf, Waddle/Pickens/Cooper. Not to mention Najee as a flex option even though he isn’t sexy.

It’s close enough that I think it makes some sense to upgrade your TE when you can’t use all those players.

seems rather fair. id prob take gibbs laporta but finding guys like olave who are pretty locked in to 9+ targets a week are tough to find. but TE is scare and rbs with high pass game involvment are gold. i will say that i dont find it very likely that laporta takes a big leap in yardage but could see olave jumping in both yards and TDs by quite a bit and thats the biggest risk in this deal to me.

Agree with this, the only pause would be getting 2 Lions. If you aren't starting any other Lions it would be a non-issue.

Gibbs & Laporta pretty easily for me. You’re getting a top player at a position where you will never be at a disadvantage for a borderline #1 wideout. Gibbs over Walker long term for me too.
