Puka for LaPorta

I've been chasing after LaPorta for a few months. I'd previously offered 1.08, 2.10 & either McBride or Musgrave for LaPorta and it was rejected. Now he's offered Puka for LaPorta straight up. Looking at 3 different trade value charts it’s a slight overpay on my side but not any more than it should be to get LaPorta. My dilemma is giving up Puka who was our 5th WR in standard scoring. I've already previously traded away top 10 WRs in AJ Brown and Amon Ra St Brown for draft picks and that's one of the few trades I've regretted doing, even though it got me Bijan. What are your thoughts on this trade? This would be for my team in the sig.

I get that in hopes, Nacua is a second or third option but as of now, he is your WR1. Olave needs to find consistency and Wilson needs to prove he can make the jump and be an elite WR that many have already labeled him. With how McBride looked, I think you are fine with what you have at TE and although both Nacua and LaPorta are great young options, Nacua looks more important to your build. Hold.

In Non-PPR I think Puka's value takes a bit of a tumble.

That said, I'm not sure how LaPorta looks in Non-PPR either, and you already have McBride.

Specifically in that league with those light starting requirements, with your roster, I see zero reasons to make this trade.

Puka is not going to maintain his success long term, he's Juju 2.0 in my opinion, probably less athletic actually. I'd snap accept Laporta and flip McBride for a young wr with upside or a late first maybe. Draft is loaded with high upside Wr1 types.
