How much on top of Reed to buy Rice/Collins? Or just hold Reed?

Both Rice and Collins will take at least a late first each (if not more). You will need to add more to Reed than a 2nd

Just curious to know why you think this is too much? I think this seems close to a deal for preference, but Collins and Rice seem to have proven they can do it at this level and have less competition for targets, for now.

With the hope for JSN and the name value, this is much closer than the original offer. Still may be light, but comes down to what the other manager thinks about JSN.

I Can’t speak for anyone else, but my comments assumed it was one or the other. For me, Nico or Rice >>> Reed. But I am admittedly lower on Reed than most.

I am also a bit surprised/confused man. One of the comments said that Rice/Collins are worth a late first at this point, but then said that Reed+2nd wouldn't get it done, implying Reed is worth next to nothing in that deal. Seeming like I'm a lot higher than consensus on Reed *shoulder shrug*

Ended up changing gears and traded JSN+Reed for Puka. Maybe gave up a little value, but now going into the season with Olave, Puka, Smith, Flowers, Addison, MHJ at WR... I'm ok with it.

I have both Collins and Rice in a league. If I offered one or the other up for JSN, my trade partner would expect me to add something. I would too, in their shoes. His potential is still higher than the others.

Also, the Reed owner here would scoff at my offer of either Collins or especially Rice for Reed plus a 2nd.

Too much recency bias in assessing these rookies in a dynasty setting. Hope that JSN dump doesn't come back to haunt you.
