I doubt they're done. My guess is they got JK cheap and are hoping to hit a HR with him. But they'll hedge that bet with a rookie.Prison_Mike wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:02 am Do we think this is mostly what the Chargers RB room looks like? Probably not drafting a RB high and not much left in terms of Free Agents right? I have Gus in a few spots and JKD in a free family league (might still have to drop him cause it's shallow)
I would've thought for as much as we anticipate Harbaugh to run the ball, that they'd have invested a bit more heavily at the position
By room I would say “operating room”. lol. I’m actually surprised they haven’t made a bigger splash at the position. I just figured that JH had something up his sleeve there.Prison_Mike wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:02 am Do we think this is mostly what the Chargers RB room looks like? which is probably "build a great o-line".TheTroll wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:15 amBy room I would say “operating room”. lol. I’m actually surprised they haven’t made a bigger splash at the position. I think if Corum makes it to the 3rd (or 4th) round, you can almost set your watch to it.TheTroll wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:15 amBy room I would say “operating room”. lol. Bingo. Another BAL/Roman RB heads over to LAC. No surprise to me. They will still look to add to JK/Gus I am sure. But it could very well be Gus to start early downs and JK mixing in as a satellite back early on in the year unless they make a splashkiller_of_giants wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:10 am i don't think adding dobbins changes anything in the chargers' draft plans, he'll be cheap and not a lock to make the 53. i hope he does and is THE RB1 next season, but i highly doubt it.
Yeah, I don't think adding an RB who's played 9 games in the last two years and is coming off multi ligament knee injuries, a hamstring tear and an Achilles injury is changing anything. But, keep hope alive I guess?Jigga94 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 6:29 amBingo. Another BAL/Roman RB heads over to LAC. No surprise to me. They will still look to add to JK/Gus I am sure. As a long term JK lover, I hate this take. But it is 100% factual.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 6:41 amYeah, I don't think adding an RB who's played 9 games in the last two years and is coming off multi ligament knee injuries, a hamstring tear and an Achilles injury is changing anything. If the Chargers draft an RB, they have the weakest competition to surpass.
I’m doing the same thing. Might as well. Not like anyone is buying him right now.81- wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:29 amAs a long term JK lover, I hate this take. I'll roll with him for one more year and cross the fingers this is finally the year.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.... But I'm out
