Agreed on the contracts the mid tier WRs are signing. There going to be a lot of disappointment when teams see how much bang they get for their buck.

As to adding a 1st round WR? I do not get that at all. ATL is in no position to be making luxury picks. They’ve got enough major O weapons right now. They need to focus on getting a DT, a DE, a CB and a future starting QB to groom.

If they do even a decent but not great job at reinforcing their D this draft they won’t be in any position to pick their replacement starting QB in the next 2-3 drafts after this so maybe this is their best shot. CB and DE are high demand spots. This is the NFL draft, not FF. Picking Nabers or Odunze would be thoughtless on their part and would dilute that offense, maybe really badly, for FF. Not good.
