1.01 or this massive package? (( POLL ))

It is rare for me to feel stuck on a dynasty decision, but I have an offer (to receive) the 1.01 but it feels like too much. Let me know your thoughts. I appreciate it!

Would you guys pay this much to move up to the 1.01 (for Marvin Jr) in a 1QB league, if you already hold the 1.02?

The guy with the 1.01 sent me an offer (still in my inbox) asking for my 1.02, 2.01, 2.02, 3.01 + Jameson Williams for his 1.01
Given my current team roster below, would you pay that much for Marvin Jr?

I sent him two counters (either remove the 2.01 or remove Jamo) ... still waiting to hear back from him

Williams has shown some hope as this year has moved along, so I would not include him either way. 2nds are solid, but also don't seem to be as valuable on the market as they used to be. If you are all in on Harrison Jr, take out Williams and let the other manager know that is your max price you will give up. Nabers is a great prospect as well, so I think you will be happy on draft day with either WR.

I have MHJR over Nabers but not to the degree of this deal. I'm with Troll - pass.

A) 1.02 + 2.01 + 2.02 + 3.01 (removing Jameson Williams from his offer)

B) 1.02 + 2.02 + 3.01 + Jameson (removing the 2.01 from his offer)

Would you guys pay either package A or B (which I countered him with both) for the 1.01 ?
or do you still think A & B are too much considering I can get Nabers at 1.02 ?

it's your team and if your absolute prize possession is MHJ then go get him, personally i wouldn't do it at all and stick with 1.02 and draft Nabers who as i said before, has a shot at being better than MHJ anyways.

Both seem like overpays to me. But I understand wanting MHJR. Your team, your call.

Agree. I'd send 1.02 + 2.02 + 3.01. And if you have to add JW do it I think he's a bust. If you want MHJ you'll have to pay. But I would keep one of the early 2nds. Nabers is very close, but if you want Harrison, have fun, go get it.

So I'm fine with B. I'd pull A. You still have the 1.05 which could be interesting. Bowers, Odunze, Williams, RB1.

Including or not including Jameson would not be a factor in my decisionmaking process here. He's not good enough to matter and he should not be the reason you proceed or shut down this trade. If that's the only thing holding you up, that's a mistake IMO. I'd give up five Jamesons to get a player I really wanted badly.

how tuned in is your league? do you sense harrison jr is going to have significantly more value than nabers in your group?

It's a little much to give up both of the 2nds to move up one spot from a great WR prospect to the elite WR prospect, but at the same time I can't fault anyone for getting their guy. Id gladly pay a 2nd + to move up though.

Easy pass for me. Way to much to move up especially because the difference between Harrison and Nabors/Odunze is not "that" significant. Remember, Justin Jefferson was pretty much the 13 pick overall in rookie drafts. Tee Higgins went later than that. AJ Brown, Hill, lots of WR outperform guys drafted higher then them.

I am on the side that there is a tangible difference in value between MHJR and Nabers, but I don't believe it is this vast.

Thanks guys. I appreciate everyone's thoughts. I rejected the original offer and will probably revoke my counter offer of: 1.02, 2.01, 2.02, 3.01 offer as well, especially since the guy hasn't accepted or countered. The maximum I am willing to give is Jameson + 1.02, 2.02, 3.01.
After thinking a full day on it and seeing everyone's replies, I agree it's a slight overpay, but the most I'm willing to pay.

I wouldn't be surprised if something nobody sees happening ends up going down (like in every NFL Draft), like for example if NE drafted Marvin Jr. at 1.03 instead of a QB, then imagine if Nabers or Odunze goes to LA Chargers and all of a sudden the perceived gap between 1.01 and 1.02 would become a lot smaller.

Personally I think MHJ is a much better prospect than Nabers (who is very good in his own right), and would pay the original offer.

I would easily do either of your counters, but would prefer send over Jameson as I just don't believe he will amount to anything for fantasy football anymore.
