Do I trade for fields??

I have an offer where I would be receiving fields and kyren and I would be sending out metcalf.

The more I think about this the more fields worries me. Idk where he will be playing and he is so up and down. I need a third qb pretty badly, what do you think?

In a SF? Kyren (the RB2 for PPG in most leagues last year) and Fields are a pretty nice return for your DK. Fields will be starting somewhere in 2024 and likely beyond, and there's a pretty reasonable chance it's for a better system/coach/team/organization than the Bears.

I'm VERY worried about Fields. And I'm very worried about Kyren.

Fields => Metcalf
Kyren = Metcalf

I think the value is on your side in SF even with being a 10 teamer. Metcalf has proven now for multiple seasons that he is not elite. He had one elite year and that is it. He is a good WR2 at this point and nothing more. RBs are tough to come by and Williams is on the younger side and just finished as the RB2 in most formats with missing 5 games. Fields is a gamble, but has all the upside in the world. I don't usually care about RBs, but I would rather have Williams than Metcalf at this point, so Fields feels free here in SF. I don't see much downside to this deal.

Pass for me. In a ten teamer you need Metcalf more than you need fields.

I have Metcalf in my SF league and would for sure take Fields/Kyren for him. And I'm relatively low on Kyren.

As another Metcalf manager... If I could get Fields and Kyren in a ONE QB I think I'd take that TBH. This feels like a no brainer to me in superflex. I must be higher on Fields than consensus at this point, but don't we still think he will be a starting QB next season? Either in Chicago, or for a team who trades for him? In which case he is a mobile QB that likely provides more for your team than a middling WR2 like Metcalf? And then on top of that I get a likely RB1 in Kyren? Not sure why I am so far apart from consensus, but sign me up for this deal.

Feels like a no brainer to me as well. Metcalf is what he is, WR20. JSN might even do damage to that ranking. I dont think Fields is as bad as everyone seems to think. He has had a poor o-line, poor coaching and until Moore arrived zero WRs. I can see a team like Atlanta making a push for him and if he lands there, whoopie.
