So hard (for me at least) to evaluate trades in non-PPR. I think one has to live in that to really appreciate the player values.TheTroll wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 3:28 amTrying to be objective here only because being a bears fan, I have watched him a lot and he has been a solid piece to the passing game. He gets open and helps to extend drives. I don’t think I would seen this without actually watchingtrc wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 1:05 amAre you saying this as a diehard Bears fan or objectively speaking?
I know KTC isn't the one and only truth, however still a fine source for consensus thinking.
Currently Kmet is valued at the same level as Calvin Ridley, Chubb, Mixon, Diontae Johnson. Next TEs above is Kittle, Njoku, Ferguson. Seems about right for me.
For the trade, it seems fine to me.
But this seems pretty close to a free Kmet. While the hype is definitely higher on Dell than DJM, I'm not sure they are all that different practically speaking. I have a suspicion that this was a good trade for both teams - the Kmet manager probably has other viable TEs and TE is kind of diminished in this format anyway.
