Got an offer from a guy who wants to rebuild in 2025. I was also rebuilding but he wants draft capital. 12 team SF, PPR, & 1.75 TEP

He sends me: J. Jefferson, D. Carr, Monty, & J. Cook

I’d Give:

Waddle
3 firsts in 2025 (all late)
3 seconds 2025 (all late)

QB’s- J. Herbert, Cousins
RB- KW3, Achane, K. Miller, Alliger, A. Gibson
WR- Chase, Waddle, T. Higgins, Waddle, J. Reed, Addison, QJ,
TE- M. Andrews, Ferguson, Mayer, Fant

Feels like an overpay to me. But I don't buy in to predicting where picks are going to land this far out. Especially three of them.

I agree. Feels like my team is on a path with draft capital.

Just the thought of JJ & Chase together

I think this is pretty darn even, although you'd better be a hopeful contender if you make this deal, since you're taking on some older assets

Jefferson is the best piece but I think this comes down to if you think Montgomery and Cook are good assets over the next two or so years.

I’m not sure if this changes it, but the guy did agree to swap out Montgomery and change it to ETN

I feel like that changes it enough by getting three years younger with the #3RB

Changes it for me. As much as I don't like paying for elite RBs (like ETN) nor do I like giving up a ton of draft capital, this deal is pretty nice. And I'm saying that with the POV that the picks are more random than necessarily late.

I'd take it. (And I try to flip ETN)

etienne is worth a 1st by himself, cook at a couple of seconds seems about right (or even all 3, if they're all late).

then you have waddle and two late 1sts for jefferson and you get a free carr. i'd say it's a pretty good deal.

Etienne probably makes it a fair deal. Given the TEP aspect, even late 1sts are really valuable.

seems fine to me. though i'd look to flip carr almost immediately.

In my experience (as a SF Carr manager) that isn't likely to work. He's probably worth more as a QB3 option than what you'll get in draft picks in return. But it's worth a try. And if the offer is a random 2nd, I'd say that's about the ceiling on value. Just depends on whether you'd prefer the random 2nd or a guy who's going to put un ~14 points in your SF slot on bye weeks. Does seem that NOS is fairly committed to him. But ~14 points kind of stinks.

I think a random second would be fine for carr.
