Trying to get Jefferson in Dynasty #3

12-team, 1 ppr, standard scoring, we start qb-rb-rb-wr-wr-wr-te-flex-k-d.
Can I get Jefferson?

I am deep at RB and have depth at WR. I'm in 2nd place.

What about Lamar (he only has Hurts) + Edwards RB (has Dobbins) + DJM + Warren (has Harris) + 2024 1st (probably late)
for
Jefferson and whatever crap he sends back.

Is it enough? Do I need to add another WR—such as Puka, Olave, or Downs? Or is this five quarters for a dollar?

In a 1 QB format, I think the other manager would have to be a huge Moore believer for this to get it done for Jefferson. With the 1st looking late, I am not sure Warren is safe enough to make the move for the other manager. Edwards has very little value moving forward and Jackson while solid, in a 1 QB, QBs would need to have huge value to close the gap. I think you are pretty far off from Jefferson here but I may be on my own there. As a Jefferson manager, I would decline.

If you can land Jefferson at any point, I think it's a good move to pursue.

If I were trading Jefferson for depth I'd still want a very solid anchor piece back. I don't know if DJM is that for me. Looking at your team 1 sig the player that makes the most sense to me is CeeDee. You can try this and calculators may even say it's a valid offer but I don't think it gets done.

Too much crap going over. Is his team rebuilding or in contention?

I'd take a stab with offering olave, DJM, and a first.

If you want the #1 asset you need to pay like it's the #1 asset.

Also your argument for what he needs are horrendous.

He only has hurts so he needs ljax?!?! You only have Allen, you need Lamar more. He doesn't need Edwards, neither Edwards or Dobbins are going to be starters next year. Warren isn't a starting RB either.

I agree with this... you need to send a stud back to get JJ (or have a change to get accepted). I traded for JJ but I had to include CeeDee + (1st pick swap).

Olave has a bad QB situation that is unlikely to improve greatly. You get to remove all of your risk and get the #1 asset.

Good points. I'll see what he says. And it leaves room for a counter. This guys and I get along. If he feels it's close, he'll tell me. If there is a counter he offer it or ask. Or he'll tell me that I'm way off, too. Have to start somewhere! LOL

Also, the "crap" have both scored over 100 points (Edwards/Warren) and since he has both JKD and Harris he may actually value them. IDK. He may not. They would BOTH be his RB2 right now...so who knows? Gotta take the shot.

If you can get JJ for that RUN!!!!!
That might land JJ in a SF league, but not a 1 QB league, IMO.

Worth a try though, the JJ owner may be brain dead.

I'm sure that's an instantly rejected offer.

I'm the biggest Gus fan there is, but he doesn't move the needle at all in a trade for JJ. The late 1st does little. DJM is about 6 tiers back of JJ. Nothing else in the offer is significant. In a 12tm 1QB league, Lamar is pretty window dressing but unnecessary unless the other guy has absolutely nothing (Mac, Levis, etc) at QB -- but the guy has Hurts, so no need to give up a T3WR for fantasy.

Insulting? Maybe not, but not a serious offer IMO. And then there's the fact you waited until the week before JJ returns to send it. If the other guy held JJ all this time during his injury, it doesn't seem he's been waiting all this time for an offer without a Stud coming back in return.

No harm in sending it. Maybe the other guy likes it better than I do.
