2013 Week 12 - Thanksgiving

Happy week 12!

There's a tendency for online boards to become a place where people only complain. Since it is Thanksgiving week... maybe let's start off with some things that we're thankful for.

I'm thankful that I live in a country where I don't have to worry about my safety (compared to some other countries where war is raging).
I'm thankful for the servicemen and women (military, police, fire fighters, EMT's) who make that possible.
I'm thankful for a job that provides for myself and my family.
I'm thankful that I have leisure time to spend on a relatively meaningless hobby - fantasy football - that allows for enjoyment and a strategic thinking outlet.

Don't forget to get those lineups set early this week, and hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

Exciting week. I've clinched 3/5 playoff spots so far but can wrap up a first round bye/top seed in 3 leagues with wins this week.

The two other leagues I can clinch playoffs spots, though one of them I would also need one of two teams to lose this week.

Just got Diggs in league 3 (about 95% to make the playoffs, but not a mathematical lock). Keenan's on a team that isn't making the playoffs, and the trade deadline is Thursday. Should I make a move for him? '24 1st? Sutton+(idk what)?

If you can get a first for Keenan I'd do that. Very rare to see him moved for a first. Assuming that you are in a rebuild and won't be competing next year. If you will be competitive next year I'd just keep Keenan

I think Kennan gets re-signed by the Chargers... QJ is looking like a bust and Williams can't stay healthy. As long as KA's hamstrings hold up he's a top 8 option. If he has 2 more years of production at this level I think a 1st is reasonable.

FWIW, someone in my league traded a late 1st for him 2 years ago. I thought he was done then, but he's continue to be a top option. Wishing I had made the trade instead of him!

I got him for OBJ and a 3rd last year from a rebuilding team last November. He'd just come back from injury and it was a rebuilding manager looking to get out. Turned out to be one of the better trades I've made.

Today, I'd be hesitant to give a 1st for him, mostly because of the age and what I would assume his market is (a 1st is at the very top of what anyone would pay for him). But if it's guaranteed 1.10-1.12 range, I could see it. Maybe try to get something back?

Might try to get Nuk but that might be a bit greedy.

Paying a first for Keenan is fine, but you can probably get a little more on top.
