After contending for a few years, I've spent this season trading off aged assets. Currently have 4 2024 1sts and 3 2025 1sts, with 3 of the 2024 1sts expected to fall in the top 4. Trade deadline is this weekend and I still have a few win now players, including George Kittle. Unfortunately, despite pressing for over a month, I'm finding no buyers on Kittle+ for a 1st. Contenders are either set at TE, lacking draft capital, etc. Do have one team that lacks draft capital but is interested in Kittle plus potentially Brian Robinson for Musgrave, a 2nd and 3rd. This is the best and essentially only offer at this point. Would you be willing to accept it as a rebuilder or should I hold and hope there is value next season?
I'm not exactly enamored with the value, but Musgrave is an interesting prospect, given his athleticism and early production at TE, but it's to be determined if he becomes a reliable TE1. Getting TE locked down early in the rebuild would be valuable though. Also potential points are likely not a huge concern since I'm well on pace for #2 overall with no realistic chance at #1. Not adding a starting RB to get a downgrade at TE and a 2nd and 3rd. Sucks, but value just isn't there. If this were Kittle for Musgrave and a 2nd, cool, but Robinson is worth more than a 3rd...

Kittle and BRob is a huge overpay just to move Kittle. The two best pieces in this deal are your guys. Easy pass. I'm holding here if thats the only deal.

Yeah it's tough to get fair value for Kittle given that contenders tend to be set at TE and/or lack draft capital, at least in my league, and rebuilders have no interest whatsoever.
Anyway, thanks for the input everyone! I ended up accepting an offer for a 2024 mid-late 1st for Kittle/BRob/Mayfield. I doubt people here are going to be crazy about the value, and tbh I'm not, but the market was extremely dry in my league on all 3. I've shopped them aggressively for 2 months now, and it was basically Musgrave and a late 2nd at best. Trade deadline is coming up though, and by next season, it's entirely possible all 3 are worth even less than they are now whether due to injury, added FAs/draft picks, or diminished play. It also guarantees me Caleb or MHJ, which was in some question after another team sold off assets yesterday which isn't irrelevant. Sometimes, depending on the makeup of the other teams in a league, the typical market value just isn't there.
